Chapter 17

   "You seem happy" Chan said looking at Jisoo. The three boys were talking in the school's garden.

   "It's just that...you were right. Jeonghan really is nicer than he acts" Jisoo softly smiled. Seungkwan just stared at him with a disgusted face.

   "What?"

   "It's not a date, he said. We're rivals, he said" Seungkwan mumbled. Jisoo just ignored him.

   "Seriously tho, how are things going with Jeonghan? From the way you've been acting, it seems like you're actually starting to get along with him" Chan said.

   "I have. He seems to actually want to be my friend, and I'm glad at least one of the school's troublemakers isn't treating me like garbage" 

   "You know what'll make you happier?" Jisoo hummed in response. "Meeting our best friend Hansol!" Seungkwan gave a little "yay" in the distance.

   "Talking about Hansol," Jisoo started. "didn't you say he had been following Seungkwan around for quite a while now?"

   "He has indeed~" Chan and Jisoo both looked at Seungkwan with questioning eyes.

   "Please!" Seungkwan said sarcastically. "Me and Hansol are just friends! And it's not like he likes me anyway..."

   "Oh? So you are interested in him~" Jisoo cooed.

   "I'm not scared to stab the both of you with my pencil" Seungkwan said.

   "Come on! You've been teasing me non stop for only talking to Jeonghan twice and I can't even tease you for a simple crush!" Jisoo pouted.

   "Where's Hansol by the way?" Seungkwan asked, changing the subject in the process.

   "Oh, he said he had to go to the office to get some of the work he missed"

   "I guess we'll have to see him during lunch huh?" 

   "Cant wait~" Jisoo said.

   Jisoo walked down the hall and entered his class.(Are my emotions that noticeable?) He asked himself during it. He had always been so good at hiding them, so how is everyone able to tell them apart? He didn't know. But what he did know was his new liking for Jeonghan. The other was so nice and funny with him at the cafe and he seemed to enjoy Jisoo's company at the band, which made him feel appreciated for once.

   You see, Jisoo used to have friends that only took advantage of his position. They would backstab him and drain all of his power away. But now, he was actually getting friends that had approached him first without an evil reason behind their doings. He truly hoped Jeonghan could be one of them.

   The bell rang signaling lunch. Jisoo packed his things and rushed to the cafeteria. He was very much excited about the Hansol dude Chan and especially Seungkwan wouldn't shut up about. He was really, really happy his new high school life wasn't going as badly as it had started, that is if you exclude a bit of bullying from Jun and especially Mingyu. Soonyoung wasn't that bad, in fact, he never approached Jisoo.

   Jisoo entered the cafeteria. He searched for his friends and started to approach them. From afar, he could see a figure talking to them.

   "Dino! Seungkwan!" The unknown figure turned around. Jisoo stopped walking.

   "Vernon....?"
