She was successful, no doubt. After leaving Fifth Harmony and releasing her number one album, she seemed to never catch a break.

She had tons of supporters, tons. But there were still the people that hated her for her departure or just because of her in general. It didn't help that she left the group.

She was happy, for the most part. Her family was very supportive and her friends, specifically Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande were her day ones. They were also crazy successful and with the three of them together as best friends made people admire them even more.

"What is it Roger?" Camila huffed, she was busy working on more music but was interrupted by a call from her amazing manager. "We have a meeting with an upcoming artist. He's new to the industry," Roger mumbled from the other side of the phone.

Camila was confused. This had nothing to do with her and what she was doing. Camila was a kind human no matter what people said about her but right now she was just frustrated that this meeting would effect her writing time. "Okay." She couldn't argue with him. She knew that no matter what she said wouldn't matter and he'd drag her out of her home if he had to.

"Camila! This is Shawn Mendes," Roger stood up from the table, motioning to the strapping young man. He was tall, beautiful curly hair, well built and had the most stunning hazel eyes. Her breath caught, what was she thinking? "Hi, I'm Camila." Her breathing was hitched but she tried her best to hide it. "Shawn," he laughed and paused before saying something else, "well, I guess you knew that."

They talked and got to know each other for a bit longer and it was clear to say that they got along well. They had many things in common and Shawn even talked to her about how much he admired her work. He had an amazing voice. She was surprised that he wasn't discovered yet.

"We want you guys to fake date." Camila's eyes widened and looked over at Shawn who didn't seem all that surprised. "PR? Are you crazy?" She yelled, standing up from her seat, dramatically.

Once again, she knew she couldn't back out. Her manager wasn't only persuasive, he was determined. They clearly saw something in the Canadian. Hell, Camila did too but she didn't want him to blow up because of a relationship and not for who he was.

It's been a few months and people were going crazy for the new relationship, Shawmila. Camila found it insane but she'd gotten closer to the tall Canadian. They've shared a few kisses, some were not even for the public. She definitely had feelings for him but she'd never ever admit it.
