Jealousy.Shawn never believed in being an overprotective, jealous boyfriend. Or so he thought.
"Ready?" Shawn's breathtaking girlfriend snaked her arms around his waist, placing her chin on his chest, looking up at him. Shawn smiled, it was from ear-to-ear. "Yeah...let's go, baby." Shawn twirled her hair, placing a soft kiss to her lips, "you look beautiful - by the way." He whispered, shutting his eyes for a moment - mesmerized by her touch. "Thank you."
The club was packed.
Drunken adults dancing on the dance floor and some were even doing the most rated R things but Shawn didn't pay attention to that, he payed attention to his girlfriend as she swayed her hips to the music on the sidelines with her best friend, Ariana.
They weren't drunk yet. Well...Camila and Shawn weren't but Ariana and Niall certainly were. "Let's go to the bar," Shawn whispered to her, holding onto her hand - tightly. "Okay."
He didn't let her get out of his sight. Who knows what could happen here.Shawn was sweating but he was sure that it wasn't because of the small space they were in with many people close to his proximity - it was because of the fact that more than four guys that were jacked may Shawn add, checking her out. He was jealous. Shawn rarely felt this way - unless it involved Camila.
"Here's your drink, babe," she waved the drink in front of him but he wasn't paying attention to that. She frowned for a second before joking with him, "holy shit...is that Harry Potter on the dance floor?" She was a horrible actor but it wasn't like Shawn could tell, "mhm...yeah, for sure." He waved his hand in front of her, not acknowledging what she had just said.
It took a heated kiss to get him to snap out of his jealous trance. He wasn't about to tell her why he wasn't paying attention. Instead, he kissed her temple and downed his drink. "Hey there, pretty lady," Shawn listened to the tall and well built, tan man that stood before Camila.
Camila wasn't one to be mean to anyone and she was certainly not one to assume someone is flirting with her, she thought that would be conceited.
Shawn didn't want to cause a scene but he definitely did not want this man flirting with his girlfriend. So he did the first thing that came to mind, he came up from behind her and kissed her neck, gently. Making it known that she was taken. "Hey baby," she whispered, still looking up at the other man.
"This is Jackson," Camila smiled, introducing the two. "Nice to meet you, mate." Okay, so he's Australian. "Yeah..." could Shawn have been nicer? Yes. He felt Camila nudge his side with her elbow, indicating to be nice.
Jackson completely ignored Shawn's presence and flirted it up with Camila for a good 10 minutes. Shawn was almost at his breaking point. He held her hand, tightly, squeezing it once in a while and he got a smile in return. The smile that made him melt and fall in love all over again - as cliché as it sounds.
"You're very hot, we should take this to my hotel room." Jackson whispered into her ear, getting a hold of her ass. Shawn broke. His eyes saw red, sweat dripped from his neck, his knuckles clenched, and his heart dropped. He saw how uncomfortable Camila was and he hated that she was even put into a horrible situation like this.
His instincts got the worst of him and he connected his fist with Jackson's face. Camila gasped but she didn't seem too surprised. Shawn didn't listen to the people yelling or the people trying to keep Jackson and Shawn apart.
Camila watched as Shawn got a blow to the face and her face was covered in her own tears. She begged for them to stop but she knew that her voice was too weak for that. Security pulled the two apart and Camila followed them out.
Shawn was left with just a simple warning and a bruised, bloody nose. "Come on, let's go home." Camila rubbed his back and the whole ride home was silent.
She sat him down on a chair and got the first aid kit. She stood in between his legs as his hands snaked around her slim waist. He had the most goofy grin on his face and their faces were inches apart. She couldn't help herself but smile, "thank you...for what you did," she kissed his cheek, gently, looking him into his eyes.
"Jealous Shawn is kind of..." she smirked, mumbling her words into his chest. "kind of what?" He laughed, deeply at her - kissing her hand. "Kind of hot," she covered her face in embarrassment. Shawn pried her hands away from her face as he chuckled at her antics.
He finally got her to look at him, "I love you...a lot. You're the only one that can cause that reaction." He kissed her soft lips, "I love you too." She kissed the corner of his lips.
She hoped and prayed that they weren't banned from that club because she truly loved it there.

This is an old one I wrote but I edited it (kind of) so that I didn't leave you guys hanging for TOO LONG. I've had no ideas recently so I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to update. :/
The world is a mess right now and I'm not just speaking about the Covid-19, I'm talking about police brutality and people who are arrogant and rude. People don't seem to understand that BLACK LIVES MATTER. What a world we live in:(
