Chapter 25: "Sealed"

DWIGHT

Nakaupo ako sa gilid ng kama ni Liam while he was preparing the pillows. He's endlessly smiling while doing it and I cant get enough of it.

"Why? May something ba sa mukha ko?" Liam cutely smiles and pampered his face when I was staring at him.

"Walaaaa. Your smile just make my heart full." He pouts his lower lip at kinilig sa binanat ko.

We were awkwardly beside each other laying on Liam's bed. May kunting gap in between us. I don't know naman how to start a conversation with him kasi i believe we were shy enough to start one. Pareho lang na nakalapat ang aming mga mata sa kesame, smiling.

I drifted my eyes sideway to his direction. Iniwasan ko ito nang binalingan rin niya ako ng tingin sabay smile sa pinagagawa naming dalawa.

"I never really imagined that i'd feel this way with you Dwight." Galak na pahayag ni Liam.

"Parang kailan lang everytime na makikita kita sa school kumukulo yung dugo ko. Pero this time parang I cant live a day without saying your face." His sight still on the ceiling.

I know it was kinda corny and cheesy but my heart was fluttered. I feel giddy. Giddy enough to reply.

"Eh ako nga palaging naiinis sa nakasimangot mong mukha. Nag-aabotan always yang mga kilay mo. Ang sungit mo nong una pero ngayon panay yung mga ngiti mo these days." Ani ko kay Liam.

"Eh tamaan ka ba naman ng mortal enemy mo all of a sudden." Banat ni Liam at nakatingin na sakin.

"Ang corny mo! If I know plano mo lang naman lahat ng to eh." Biro ko sa kanya. My eyes were on him na rin.

"Bakit? Di ka ba kinilig sa mga ginawa ko? Ha? Ha?" He tickles my waist and I squirm.

"Hindi no." Ani ko kay Liam na bumangon para kilitiin ako.

He's now on top of me while doing it. He suddenly stopped when our eyes met. He stared at me. Then dahan-dahan niyang inilapit ang kanyang mukha. His arms cornered the side of my elbows.

I know he was about to kiss me with those sticky eyes. Napapikit nalang ako. Now my eyesight darkened while I was waiting for his lips to touch mine. Pero dumampi yung mga labi niya sa aking noo. Napadilat ako. Ngumiti siya sa ginawa niya. Bumalik siya sa kanyang pagkakahiga pero now he cuddles me. He nestled his head on my chest while hugging me.

Everything was just surreal at this moment. Never did I imagined myself sleeping intimately with this guy. Yung kaaway mong biglang naging clingy sayo.

LIAM

Last day of practice na namin sa basketball. Matindi naging preparation namin para maipanalo yung semis and of course makapasok sa finals. Our goal was to break Sta Ana Academy's 7 year winning streak. I know it was kinda ambitious for us to have that objective pero we are eager. And for seven years kami yung kaharap nila every finals and never did our team win against them.

May hugot na rin pagtyatiyaga ko na maipanalo namin ito dahil our seniors also worked hard to get us this far.

We were on the huddle area getting the last advice ng coach namin. Rex's beside me nakaakbay sa akin. We were sweaty after ng training namin.

While coach was giving us his advice for tonight I saw Dwight came in at umupo sa bleachers. He greeted me with a smile and so do I. Pagkatapos namin marinig si coach ay kinuha ko yung bag at towel ko sa chair para pumaroon sa bleachers. When I was about to go to Dwight, Alex suddenly came in front of me. Seryoso ang kanyang pagmumukha.
