Nanlilisik yung mga mata ko habang tinitingnan si Magnus. Both of us are off to make the jump ball and im about to kick his ass. Pero he doesn't seem intimidated as I see him smirking on me. His eyes are competitive but so are mine. Gagawin kong lahat para maipanalo namin tong game one since meron kaming home court advantage.

Lalong umingay ang buong gymnasium ng nakuha ng side ng team namin ang bola after the jump ball. My objective was to defend the ball from Magnus dahil siya yung aggressive na nagbabalak masteal yung bola sakin. And when he has the ball naman I am the one who eagerly distract Magnus from getting a shot. Several times kong nabablock yung bola niya but he doesn't seem frustrated so I continue to defend and make an offense.

Naging see-saw battle ang laro bago mag half-time. 34-30 in favor ng team namin. Advantage din talaga pag homecourt mo dahil everytime magfefree throw ang Sta Ana Academy ay bahagya silang nadidistract sa mga hiyawan ng crowd namin dahilan para di nila maishoot yung bola. And it happened several times.

Dwight suddenly comes up sa likuran ng huddle area namin. He leaned on the railings and called me. He noticed na im a bit exhausted and sweaty at tinanong niya ako if im still good like how every boyfriend does to make sure if everything's fine. Lalo akong ginanahan maglaro sa third quarter when Dwight gives me "You can do it" smile. Nakakita siya ng isang vacant seat sa likuran ng huddle namin at doon na umupo.

This time naging pisikalan na ang laban. I noticed na everytime magdedefend ng bola si Magnus ay mariin niyang binabangga ang katawan niya habang binabalak kong agawin sa kanya ang bola. Umabot sa point na sinasadya na niyang hampasin ng malakas yung kamay ko every time I try to make a shot. I know this isnt basketball already. He's planning to get back at me.

82-81, 4th quarter, in favor namin at meron nalang 1 minute and 16 seconds na natitira. Unfortunately, nasa kalaban ang bola. Im a bit nervous of course pero di ko yun hinayaan na lumala. I focus my mind sa game. Magnus' teammate attempts to make a shot pero di niya ito nashoot. Nakuha ng teammate ko ang bola at agad niya itong pinasa sakin and I am off to make a dunk. The path was clear so I hurriedly dribble and dunk the ball.

Pero di ko namalayang mabilis palang nakatakbo si Magnus behind my back. He blocked my hands from making the dunk and I fell on the floor. He was called for a foul. Nakatayo lang siya sa harapan ko giving me some evil smirk. I thought he would at least give me a hand pero wala. This adds up to my despise towards him.

Thirteen seconds left on the clock ng nashoot ko ang dalawang free throws making it 84-81 as they failed to tie the game and force an overtime.

Nagshake hands ang magkabilang koponan after ng laro. Magnus is smiling when he is about shake my hands.

"Nice game." His voice is taunting and sarcastic. I know he didn't mean what he just said.

I just glare at him making sure he thinks I really don't like him at all. Nevertheless, I feel victorious dahil nanalo yung team namin. My eyes search for Dwight among the crowd and there he is walking toward me, smiling and I bet feels proud.

"Nice game." Nakangisi siya sabay abot ng face towel sakin.

"Thank." I smiled back at this cute creature who feels proud of his boyfriend of course haha lol.

Parang nagpyesta ang buong team na naghihiyawan sa cafeteria when we had our lunch there. Recalling how we strategized to defeat the Warriors. Then suddenly Sta. Ana Academy's basketball team comes at our table.
