MAGNUS

I texted Dwight na nandito na ako sa café bistro dahil tapos narin yung practice namin sa basketball. My mood was so light when I was patiently waiting for him sa isang table. Bigla nalang ako napasmile nang nakita kong dumating na si Dwight sa café. Kinawayan ko siya para paupoin sa table sa table na kinauupoan ko. 

"So....let's eat?" Ani Dwight sabay tango ko.

"Ano nga pala recommended mong dish dito? Kasi ako everytime na kakain kami dito ng friends ko yung beef steak niyo talaga palagi kong inoorder eh."he said while scanning the menu.

"Uhm apart from that, I would recommend you to try our sweet and sour fish fillet. Our mexican vegetable salad is also one of the best seller dito. You should try it also. Then lastly yung italian carbonara din namin is really good."

"Sige ill try them kasi gutom narin kasi ako then strawberry milk shake na rin." Si Dwight.

Nagmukha akong crew na nagtake ng order ni Dwight lol. Pero I didn't mind and was amazed by how much food pala he could eat haha. Tinawag ko yung crew tas nireitirate lahat ng order ni Dwight.

"Tapos isang pork ribs for me at iserve later mo yung triple chocolate smoothie ko."

"Nga pala Magnus, sasama kaba sa business trip ng papa mo pagkatapos ng sem na ito?" Tanong ni Dwight.

"Unfortunately, may team building kasi yung business administration department after ng sem. I havent mentioned it pa to mom and dad. And I guess same din ng date ng business trip."

"Aaah ganon ba? Sayang marami sana akong tanong about business eh."

"Oh I remember nasa States ka pala for the past 2 years. And I guess kakaestablish lang din ng furniture business niyo that time. Is that the reason why youre curious about the business?" Ani ko kay Dwight.

"Yeah kind of. Pero bakit mo alam na nasa States ako that time?" May bahagyang pagtataka ang mga mata ni Dwight.

"Uhm minsan kasi sinasama ako nina mom everytime na pupunta sila sa house niyo. And I happened to see your family pictures and I was curious kung bakit si Bright lang yung nasa bahay niyo. So I asked your mom kung asan ka that time. She said na nakabase ka sa States dahil suwael ka daw when you were in your Junior High." Then I chuckled.

"Wait sinabi ni mom yun? Shooooocks nakakahiya hahaha." Napapangisi kami sa pinag-usapan namin.

We were exchanging funny topics and I suddenly realized na we were comfy na conversing with each other. Hanggang sa sinerve na yung orders namin panay parin yung usapan namin mostly about his life. How stubborn he was when he was still in his younger years. How he messed up when his brother almost died trying to pick him up. How he was coping when he was still studying in the States. You can say that we're having a good time.

"You have some uhm...sauce on your lip." Ani ko kay Dwight sabay turo sa kanya na may kunting sauce yung labi niya.

He tried to rub it off. Pero he cant get it so I decided to rub it off for him.

"Here let me help you." Kinuha ko yung tissue tas pinunasan yung labi ni Dwight.

"Dwight!"

A round strict voice. When I drifted my eyes para alamin kung sino yun, I don't know this guy pero he seems familiar. Nakafrown yung face niya, hindi siya nakasimangot pero strikto yung pagmumukha niya.
