For the next few days I spent it on the station. My crew had yet to arrive and I was starting to believe they had forgotten me.

"Odo, Sorry to intrude, but I was wondering if you had gotten any word from the Enterprise?" I asked as I walked up to him.

"I'm afraid not. I did contact Star Fleet and they said that they were busy with the Klingon's."

"Thank you." I said as I turned to leave.

I accidentally bumped into a kid and moved back.

"I'm sorry." He said as he looked up at me.

"It's alright, it was an accident." I said with a gentle smile.

"Mister Sisko, What are you doing here?" Odo asked calmly.

"Do you know where my Dad's gone?" Jake asked as he looked at both of us.

"You can't find him?" I asked softly.

"Last night, he was making a big deal about us having a talk this morning. But when I got up he was gone."

"Have you checked his office?" Odo asked with a frown.

"The computer says he's not on the station."

"Why don't you go on to school while I track him down." Odo said calmly.

"School's closed while Mrs O'Brien's back on Earth. Nog and I were going over to airlock three and watch the Bajoran transport passengers come on board."

"You mean, to look at the girls." Odo said with a small smile.

"No, we were just...."

"Go on. When I find out where your father went, I'll let you know." Odo said calmly.

"Thanks, Odo." He said as he turned and walked away.

I turned to look at Odo and saw a frown on his face.

"Computer, confirm that Commander Sisko is not on the station." Odo ordered.

"Confirmed."

"What time did he log out?" Odo asked as he stood up.

"That information is not on file."

"What ship did he leave on?"

"That information is not on file."

Odo looked at me and I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I believe we have a problem." I said softly.

"I'm going to the bridge. Please return to your quarters." He said as he walked out of the room.

"Oh Sisko has told you all nothing." I said as I followed him.

We made it to the bridge and I looked around.

"Constable Odo. Good morning to you." A man said.

"Where's Major Kira?" Odo asked as we stepped off.

"Didn't report for duty on time this morning. None of the senior officers did." He said as he looked at his screen.

"And you don't find that odd?" I asked softly.

"I heard that Wadi party went on all night."

"How long have you been a security officer, Lieutenant?" Odo asked as he looked down at him.

"Six years. Why?" He asked as he looked up.

"Lost many Commanders?"

"Lost?" He asked with a frown.
