I smiled as Riker kept an arm around my shoulder as I showed them all around.
"I can't believe you were stuck in a wormhole.... what was it like?" Data asked softly.
"Boring. To me it was a matter of days, but when I came out it had been years." I said softly.
"How did you get in the wormhole?" Picard asked softly.
"The planet had a machine that took us through time."
"You know mother will be thrilled to learn you are alive." Deanna said softly.
"Let's hold off on telling her... I don't want her tracking me down just yet." I said with a laugh.
I saw Odo talking to Quark and held back a laugh.
"Someone tried to kill me! I am the victim!" Quark snapped.
"You are a lot of things, victim isn't one." Odo said calmly.
"Now Odo quiet bullying this poor Ferengi." I said as we walked up to them.
"Commander, He is anything but poor." Odo said with a frown.
"Oh I forgot, Captain Picard meet Constable Odo, the Chief Of Security." I said sweetly.
"A pleasure." Picard said calmly.
Odo nodded his head and looked at me.
"So this will be the last we see each other Commander."
"Yes, I'm sure you are thrilled to get rid of me Constable."
"Yes, thrilled." Odo said as he looked away.
"Quark do try not to get him killed. I plan on returning to visit and I have to be able to bug Odo." I said with a smile.
"Don't you worry at all." Quark said with a smile.
"And make sure Rom keeps Nog in school or I definitely will be back." I said sternly.
"If you will excuse me. I have to figure out why someone would try to kill Quark, though it's not hard to figure out." Odo said as he led Quark away.
"He is... nice?" Deanna said with a frown.
"Yea, He isn't." I said with a laugh.
"He thinks highly of you." She said with a smile.
"He despises me."
"He cares deeply for you. I can feel it."
"Shut up." I said as we continued walking around.
I continued to show them around until we got tired.
"I think we should return to the ship. Everyone has been dying to see you." Picard said calmly.
"I should say goodbye-"
"Don't worry we will return to the station." He said with a smile.
I nodded my head and we beamed aboard. I let out a sigh and crossed my arms over my chest. We walked around and I saw that it had changed. We soon stopped at the dinning area and I smiled as the door opened to everyone clapping.
"Welcome home." Crusher said as she hugged me.
I talked to a few people and learned that a lot had changed. I soon spotted Worf and walked up to him.
"It's good to have you back." He said softly.
"I heard you had a son, congratulations." I said softly.
"His name is Alexander." He said with a small smile.
I nodded my head and let out a sigh.
"You have changed." He said softly.
"Everything has changed."
"You aren't staying." He said calmly.
"No, I.. I think I'll be staying on the station. I got offered a job." I said softly.
He nodded his head and I bit my lip.
"I'll miss everyone, but I don't think I have a place here anymore." I said softly.
"I understand, but just know... you will always have a place here." He said as he squeezed my hand.
"Thank you."
I continued to go around and talk to people. I stopped when I saw Wesley. I walked up to him and he looked at me with a smile. He quickly ran up and hugged me. I let out a laugh and hugged him back. We pulled apart and I looked up at him.
"You have gotten so much taller." I said with a laugh.
"You are still the same." He said softly.
"Wesley.... I.."
"I know. Keep in contact." He said as he sent me a smile.
I pulled him into another hug and let out a sigh.
"Thank you." I whispered.
I saw Data walked up to me and I sent him a smile.
"I am glad to see that you are alive." He said softly.
"I'm glad to be alive." I said softly.
He nodded his head and I let out a yelp as he pulled me into a hug. I smiled and gently hugged him back.
"I will miss you." He whispered.
"I will miss you too. Keep everyone in line for me." I whispered.
"I will do my best." He said before pulling away from me.
After talking to everyone I went to talk to Picard. I walked inside and saw him at his desk looking at a picture.
"That was my graduation picture." I said softly.
"Sarek gave it to me.... meant the world to him."
"Picard... since I can remember you have been my there for me... and I.."
"It's okay." He said as he gently took my hands on his.
I smiled up at him and pulled him into a hug.
"Thank you." I whispered as I felt tears stream down my face.
We pulled apart and I turned and walked out, before he could see the tears. I left his room and let out a sigh. I stopped and smiled as I saw Riker.
"Didn't think you could leave without telling me goodbye." He said with a chuckle.
"Never in a million years." I said with a laugh.
I pulled him into a hug and let out a sigh.
"I'll miss all of you." I said softly.
"I'll miss you too. Make sure they treat you right."
"If they don't I'll call you." I said with a laugh.
"You better." He said as he pulled away.
I left the ship and smiled as I saw Sisko waiting.
"Commander Maria, reporting for duty." I said softly.
"Welcome aboard." He said as he held his hand out.
I shook it and followed him inside.
