Monday arrived, and the entire Literature class rehearsed for the play even though Professor Cielo was still on leave due to the accident. Antonio wasn't present so it made Cattleya less anxious. However, Megan was looking for Antonio, insisting that he should play Romeo but no one listened to her and they just let her grumbled during rehearsals.
Liv too was out and Cattleya doesn't know. She texted her this morning but she got no reply. Since the finals is two weeks away, there are rarely classes anymore. Cattleya's whole week was scheduled with rehearsals with the drama club, studying for exams and finalizing her papers.
It's a good thing too for Cattleya. She could keep herself busy with school and club work so she could ignore the nagging hateful feeling she feels every time she thinks about them.
"...dear?"
"Hmm? Oh ,yes mom."
She's talking with her mother on the phone since its lunch time.
"I asked how's the party. Did you have fun?"
"Yeah, I did." she answered trying to shake off the things that happened.
"That's good. Oh, gotta go now, I have to go to a meeting with Dr. Ramirez. I'll call you again tonight oaky? Bye. Love you."
"Love you."
She was about to put her phone on the bag when it received a message.
From: Dylan
Where are you?
She replied that she's by the fountain in the eco-park however, she didn't get a reply from him but a shadow covered her.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Dylan asked.
"Just spending some free time. Why?"
"Well...I'm embarrassed to ask...but...canyouwestudytogetheronourphilosophysubjectforfinals?" Dylan said very fast.
"Slow down Dy. I didn't get what you were saying."
Dylan sighed then sat beside her.
"Can we study together on Philosophy subject for our finals?"
Cattleya had to blink twice.
"S-ure. Are you okay if we study in the library?"
"Ye-ah..."
"Something wrong?"
"Well, studying in the library makes me sleepy."
Cattleya laughed at his confession.
"I mean hello, I can't really take the silence."
"Libraries are the perfect place to study. Let's go. Fight your weakness!Conquer the library!" Cattleya joked.
"Haha, very funny."
The two of them to the library. They found an empty table in a secluded corner and took a seat there. An hour later, Dylan was dozing off. Cattleya laughed then poked him on his forehead.
"Sorry."
"Maybe we should take a break." Cattleya closed her books.
"I kinda want to take a short nap." she said as she rested her head on one of her arms on the table and closed her eyes. Dylan was surprised that Cattleya did something like this, so he copied her, so now they are facing each other.
Cattleya eventually fell asleep but aDylan did not. He just stared at Cattleya. There was a hair that slide down from her cheek so he gently tuck it behind her ears, slowly so he wouldn't wake her up.
