Your POV

I said goodbye to my half-siblings, Carter and Sadie, after we had breakfast. After we sorted everything and finalized our defense plan, it was time for me to head home to Camp Half-Blood.

I guess I should fill you in about what happened over the weekend...

Saturday

I woke up in Bunker 9. I tried to get up, but a pair of arms held me back.

"Mornin', Guppy," Leo said.

"Hey, Leo," I said as I got up. I was still in yesterday's clothes. No, nothing happened last night. We just stayed up late working on the ship. "Listen..."

"Uh oh," he said playfully, "that's not something you want to hear a girl say when she wakes up in your arms."

I playfully punched his arm, "Shut up, Tinkerboy. It's not like you ever officially asked me out. Anyway, I'm going to Brooklyn for the weekend."

"Why?"

I thought for a moment. Should I tell him?

"Family emergency," I said pointedly.

"I'll come with you," he said as he went over to his table and started packing a duffel bag.

I held his wrist to stop him. "No, you have to stay and work on the ship. I'll be back by Monday, I promise. I just need to talk to my half-siblings about confidential information. Besides, I did spend Christmas here. I should pay them a visit."

Leo looked at me hesitantly then nodded. "Okay, Guppy. I'll miss you."

I pecked his lips. "I'll miss you, too. Don't overwork yourself, alright."

"Alright."

As I headed out, Leo called my name. "That thing you said, about me not officially asking you out," he said as he scratched the back of his neck, "how about a date when you get back? You still owe me training. You and me, Monday, arena?"

I chuckled at his attempt to ask me out, but then again, we did already kiss. Granted we were under a mistletoe. Still, this is something I've wanted.

"You've got yourself a date, Tinkerboy." I winked at him and I walked to the stables.

Once I reached the stables, I took Blackjack and headed to Brooklyn House.

We landed on the roof, which may have startled our sleeping pet griffin, Freak. He let out a startled screech. I calmed him down, then I told Blackjack to fly back to CHB. He was hesitant to leave me there, but he really didn't have a choice.

Freak's shriek may have been really loud because the next thing I knew, thundering footsteps came running up. The door to the roof swung open to reveal Carter and Sadie, wands at the ready.

They looked relieved to see me. Sadie ran up to me and tackled me in a hug.

"What the bloody Horus are you doing here, (y/n)?" She said.
