Leo's POV

I brought out a small ambrosia square from my tool belt, ready to catch (y/n). But before she could collapse, I saw the pharaoh wrap his arm around her.

I immediately took (y/n) from him as gently as possible. I sat her down so she could rest a bit. I fed her the ambrosia square.

"Dude," I told the pharaoh, "you do know she's my girlfriend, right?"

"Woah," said the teenager, "(y/n) has a boyfriend? Since when? And why were you fighting earlier?"

"Nick," said the guy in uniform. I assumed he was his father.

"It's fine," I said. "I don't think we have time to explain, but we promise we'll tell you everything later. Bottomline is-" (y/n) started to regain consciousness, so I helped her up, "-we just got back a week ago from saving the world. So you're welcome. You okay there, Ghost Queen?"

(Y/n) nodded. "Let's go," she said. "We're not that far."

After a few turns, we reached the entrance of the Egypt section. The guard, who (y/n) told me was Larry, said goodbye to Lancelot. Lancelot didn't look too pleased, but he didn't follow us anyway.

We walked to the end of the section, to a room with gold walls and two sarcophagi. Both of the coffins were opened and empty.

Since (y/n) and I were at the back of the group, we discreetly summoned our weapons. A woman in Egyptian clothing came out and hugged the pharaoh dude. (Y/n) tells me his name is Ahkmenrah but whatever. Not like I should care about him anyway.

A guy that looked about in his 50s then came out. The queen introduced herself as Shepseheret, while the king was named Merenkahre. When we realized they were not a threat, we hid our weapons and headed towards them. (Y/n) gave me a kiss before we entered.

"I missed you, Repair Boy."

"I missed you too, Ghost Queen."

When we entered, Larry was in the middle of a conversation.

"You are speaking to a pharaoh," said Merenkahre. "Kiss my staff."

Larry looked confused then he said, "I'm not kissing your staff."

"Kiss. My. Staff."

Larry then kissed his index and middle finger and placed it on the staff. The pharaoh looked displeased. They then talked about belief systems then Larry mentioned he was half-Jewish.

"Oh, you are?" Merenkahre said enthusiastically. "We love Jews. We owned 40,000 of them!"

"Here we go," Ahk said, embarrassed by his parents.

Eventually, we got back right on track. Larry told them about the decomposing tablet and asked the king to tell them what to do.

Unfortunately for us, Merenkahre was firm on keeping it a secret.

"I'll kiss your staff," Larry offered.

"Too late," Merenkahre said pointedly.

Eventually, Ahk convinced him to tell them about the secret of the tablet. Merenkahre gave a short explanation about why he had the tablet made. Apparently, all we needed was moonlight.
