Your POV

I was woke up with a jolt. I wasn't dreaming... At least, not that I could remember. It was like a cold feeling washed over me, then it vanished just as fast as it came. I looked over and check the clock. 4:43 AM. Still pretty damn early, but I had a feeling I had to keep my guard up. I started doing some stretches to warm myself up. I paced around my cabin thinking of things I could do.

I decided to have a midnight snack. I walked up to the mess hall and took some (f/s) from the magic ice box. I looked around the room. The walls showed the camp in real time. Right now, it was peaceful. Back home, it was probably around 1 or 2 AM. Gods, I missed camp. I sat down and ate my snack as I stared longingly at the cabins. Cabin 7 had lights illuminating from their windows. They were either still up (hopefully missing me) or their nightlights were set to extra bright.

As I finished my snack, I decided to head back to my room and try to get some shut eye. Looking at camp made me homesick and it wasn't really helping me.

I passed by Leo's room and debated whether or not I should wake him up. He's worked so hard on this ship. He deserved and needed the rest. But then again, he made me promise to go to him when something was wrong. I would want him to do the same, and I needed to prove to him that I kept my promise.

I knocked on his door. After about five seconds of no one answering, I knocked again. Still nothing. I opened the door and peeked in a bit to see him fast asleep on his bed. His blanket was kicked to the side. The wore a red shirt and red pyjama shorts that had gear patterns. On his finger was a promise ring similar to mine. His cheek was pressed against a pillow he was hugging, drool coming out from the side of his slightly open mouth. In other words, he looked adorable.

Before I could decide to just head back to my own bed, I walked up to him and sat on the side of his bed. I gently shook him awake.

"H-huh... Whu...?" He said sleepily as his eyes fluttered open. "Hey, Guppy."

He sat up and gave me a big hug. "I'm glad you kept your promise to come here if you needed me."

"That's because I want you to do the same," I told him.

"You alright, Guppy?" He asked as he pulled away and held my face in his hands.

"Yup," I said. "I just suddenly woke up and had a bad feeling. Let's go back to sleep."

He nodded as he made room beside him. I snuggled closer and he pulled the covers over both of us. He protectively wrapped his arms around me and brought me closer, my face nuzzling the crook of his neck.

"By the way," I said as my eyes started to close, "you drool when you sleep."

He softly chuckled and kissed the top of my head. "I love you."

The next day, I woke up beside Leo. We were still in the same position we slept in. I looked over at the clock. 6:31 AM. I decided to get up and freshen up.
