CONTEXT:
- my boyfriend and I are celebrating our first anniversary today (yay!) so I thought I should make some Leo x reader headcanons!
- this will probably be relatively shorter
- gender neutral (again, tell me if I accidentally slip)

- you guys would just mostly spend the day together

- he'll probably sneak into your cabin and wake you up really early. Once you're ready, he'll sneak you guys out of camp riding Festus.

- your first stop is a diner just a few miles outside of camp, and he'll treat you to breakfast with eggs, pancakes, hot chocolate and other usual breakfast stuff

- after that, you guys will fly over cities and towns. Then he'll switch Festus to autopilot so the two of you can watch the sunrise

- you'll arrive in Central Park where the two of you would spend the rest of the morning walking and talking, hand-in-hand

- of course you guys would buy a lot of snacks (probably from every vendor you see)

- for lunch, you picked a nice restaurant that still was affordable. This time, you insisted on splitting the bill

- you walked out of the restaurant and you insisted on visiting a few museums, especially the Met

- your eyes would light up as you explained the exhibits to Leo

- he wouldn't admit it, but sometimes, he wouldn't understand what you mean, especially when you start to explain art styles and why this painter was better than this painter

- but he loved the way your eyes lit up while you're so engrossed in your little rant that you don't notice that he's just staring at you lovingly

- you go to school in Manhattan so you know your way around. Leo has only been there a few times. That being said, you decided to surprise Leo by taking him to a store you just know he'll love

- you blindfold him and tell him to remove it once you get in front of Hershey's Chocolate World

- at first he just stands there in awe at the site before him. Since the death of his mom, the only candy store he's ever been in was the camp store run by the Stolls

- you quickly pull him as you both race inside. He's bouncing of the walls as he sees the giant chocolate bars. You came in empty handed and left carrying enough chocolate to feed half the camp (you keep it a secret from then, of course)

- needless to say that after the discovery of that store, Leo drags you out of camp from time to time just to refill your chocolate stash

- he thanks you for bringing him there and he showers you with kisses as you sit on a bench and eat chocolate

- before heading back to camp for dinner, he asks you to walk around times square, which you normally don't want to do since it's always packed with people and angry tourists

- "Come on, (y/n), it's our anniversary!" *puppy eyes brought to you by those damn cute brown eyes*

- "Fine, but you're cuddling with me tonight and I'm the little spoon."

- "Done!" *quick kiss on the lips*

- since you were already at time square and still had a few hours to kill, you asked Leo to watch a Broadway show with you. He agreed and you picked (f/s)

- when the show ended, you headed back to Central Park where Festus was waiting to pick you up

- you flew back to camp just in time for dinner. Thankfully, it was a free day so no one really came looking for you, though some people did question you and Leo, which you quickly told them you were spending alone time in the bunker since it was your anniversary.

- of course, you did spend some time in the bunker trying to find out the perfect place to stash your giant chocolates

- at the end of the day, you and Leo cuddled in his bed at the Hephaestus cabin, just as he promised. His siblings didn't mind since Leo's bed retracted down to private chambers.

- you did play a few video games and watched a few movies. Let's just say someone had their ass handed to them at call of duty and it was not you

- in the middle of your second movie, you started to get sleepy, so you leaned in closer to Leo's chest. You could feel his breathing and heart beats against your cheek

- you nuzzled in closer and took in his scent which was free of oil and grease today

- you smiled to yourself and nuzzled closer to his chest, causing him to laugh a little

- "What are you so happy about, princesa?"

- "Just thinking about the year we just had together and how I get to spend the rest of eternity with you."

- you guys cuddle some more and talk about your memories until you started to drift off to sleep

- you end up sleeping first, so Leo just hums you a lullaby until he also ends up falling asleep

- "Good night, mi amor. I love you so much. Thanks for the great year with you."

- "Good night, Leo. I love you, too."

A/N: ahhh okay please don't kill me. I've got a lot of ideas but I can't seem to process them into words right now. I already have an idea for the next FE chapter but I wanted to write a few more chapters before that. I've got two more drafted chapters and hopefully I finish them by tomorrow.
