Your POV

This was it. We were in the Parthenon in Athens fighting the giants with out parents. Gods, this felt exhilarating. I felt goosebumps on my arms and legs. Everywhere I turned, I could see teamwork.

Annabeth couldn't get the smile off her face when Athena told her how proud she was of her for retrieving the statue.

Piper was fighting giants with Aphrodite, who was also surprisingly good in combat. Huh, who knew?

Frank was shapeshifting as he fought with his dad, Mars. I've seen Ares before, and let me tell you, Mars is just... Wow. He was way more disciplined than his Greek counterpart.

Leo was manning the ship's weapons with Hephaestus. He was grinning like a madman, as if he were just in some virtual reality game. I couldn't help but smile at my boyfriend. They were adorable.

Then there was us, the children of the big three:

Hazel worked with her dad, Pluto, who was a slightly less creepy version of Hades, but still extremely powerful and intimidating.

Jason fought side-by-side with Jupiter (I like to call his Greek counterpart, Zeus, as Uncle Z just to annoy him). Jupiter looked more disciplined than Zeus in a way that he was really determined to defeat this giant rather than he was forced by these puny demigods to fight with them because they needed them (classic Uncle Z).

And then there were me and Percy with the best godly dad, Poseidon. Dad calls us the water bending trio. Not too shabby, but still leaning towards the cheesy dad jokes side.

Anyway, the fighting continued on for quite a while, until I heard a shriek. I looked over to my right and saw Annabeth crumpled on the ground. Her leg was cut and she was bleeding. A few drops of blood fell to the ground. Uh oh, that can't be good.

Po lybotes caught us off guard. He wacked me and Percy which we barely dodged. We got up, but we were already injured by the impact. Suddenly, I heard Annabeth call out.

"Percy, look out!" She screamed. I barely had time to register what she meant. Suddenly, I saw a trickle of blood fall from Percy's nose and drop to the ground. Uh oh...

Awake! Said a disembodied voice. Suddenly, the place started to rumble. We saw a woman rise up from the ground. She was covered in a swirling dress of dirt and grass.

"Puny demigods," Gaea said as she hovered above us. "I shall destroy you! I shall destroy you all! And I shall start with those pathetic camps you call home."

In a zap, she disappeared, no doubt already zipping her way to Camp Half-Blood. She'll be their in a few minutes and we were still stuck in Athens!

Finally, Zeus—er, Jupiter—offered to help us get back to camp quickly. He said he could slap the boat (you know, like a tennis ball) all the way to camp, but that would mean the ship would be destroyed.

"I have a better idea," I offered, which of course, Jupiter scowled at me. I offered to Duat travel to camp. That way, the ship would still be intact. Everyone seemed to be on board with my idea.

"We'll meet you at camp!" Poseidon called after us as we got settled on boars.

"Thanks, dad!" I called after him. "Love you!"
