Your POV

I was hanging out with my best friend, Will, in the Apollo cabin. I was pretty sad that Broadway shut down. I've been on off-Broadway and Broadway shows, and after years of hard work, I've finally landed the role of (d/r). But that's alright, the important thing is that we do our part to stay at home. The role is still mine, of course.

Some Apollo kids and I set up a projector for karaoke. They knew that I did theater. No one else in this camp knew. I was too shy to tell them.

Will had this idea that since I was a swing for Six, and other cast members were doing it, I should do a one-woman megasix.

I, being the sad bored theater kid who wanted to perform so badly, said yes. I opened my Instagram account (the one that wasn't followed by my fellow half-bloods). This was my public account, so mortals follow me here. My private account was for my demigod life. Don't worry, Hephaestus kids made demigod smartphones that don't attract monsters.

I went on live and greeted the crowd.

"Hey, guys!" I said. "So, I know that everyone is sad about the Broadway shutdown. Don't worry, all your tickets will be refunded and we'll see if you can reschedule. Right now, remember to wash your hands and stay at home and don't hoard supplies."

"So," I continued, "you guys know that I've been a swing on Six. Buuuut... When Broadway reopens, I will be playing my dream role of (d/r) in (show). My first day was supposed to be yesterday but then broadway shut down so... ANYWAY... Let me cure your souls and help you through your boredom as I attempt—" I twirled playfully "—the one-woman megasix."

"WILL," I pointed to him off-camera, "GIVE ME A BEAT."

Will then played the instrumental.

I started singing and dancing. I felt so hyped up. Will took my phone from me and he filmed me as I performed.

"Get your phones out, you're gonna wanna film this. And most importantly—" I looked at the phone seriously "—remember to stay at home. HEY!"

I walked around the room as I 'introduced' the band members, then I would stop and do a little dance.

"Make some noise for MAGGIE!"

"Big up BESSY!"

"Let's show some love... FOR JOAN!"

"And SEÑORRRRITA MARIA!"

"Are you ready? Instagram, HERE WE GO!"

I made sure to switch my voice depending on the character. "You must think that I'm crazy, you wanna replace me, baby, there's n-n-n-n-n-n-NO WAY! If you thought you could leave me, you must think I'm naive, please believe me there's n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-"

"NOT SORRY! Sorry not sorry 'bout what I said. I'm just tryna have some fun—N-N-NO WAY!—Don't worry, don't, don't lose your head. I didn't mean to hurt anyoooooone..."
