I fold Willows bed sheets again and again until not a crease was in sight. Her room was polished from top to bottom until everything shun. I want everything to be perfect for her when she gets home...which is sometime today. I can not wait to see her and hold her in my arms, never letting her go again.

"Katniss!" Peeta calls out from the bottom of the stairs, loud enough for me to hear from Willows room. "We've been called to the rebel base and been told to come as soon as possible. They say it's really urgent!"

This makes me jump.

I rush out of her room and down the staircase to meet Peeta immediately. "What is it about? Is it Willow? Is she BACK YET?!" I squeal hopefully on the spot.

"I'm not sure. That's all they would say to me, I really hope so."

"Me too," I sigh. "I miss her so much. I just want to hold her and tell her everything is going to be ok." Even though it is not.

"Oh Kat, so do I." He sniffles, calling me my old nickname. "Are you ok? You look really tired and ill." He says worried. "How long have you been cleaning Willows room for?"

"Just what every person wants to hear." I remark at him sarcastically. "I'm fine Peeta, honestly. Just since I got up."

"It's 10am now. You got up at 5:30!" He lets out.

"Peeta. I just want everything to be perfect for her. Can you leave off and just drop it?!" A ask him, frowning.

Why does he not understand this? I wish he would stop being like this sometimes.

"It's just..."

"What?!" I ask shaking, sensing his discomfort.

He hesitates. I nod for him to go on. "They seemed really serious and didn't mention her at all, I just hope that it will be something good for once." I kiss him when he finishes passionately on the lips, as if it will be a good luck charm.

"Let's pray it will," I whisper. "Now let's go to the rebel base and see Willow."

***

The rebel base was built after the war, beside the reaping.

It holds armour, weapons and an old hovercraft incase of another war-so District 12 can be more prepared this time. (The hovercraft which is being used to rescue Willow). If another attack is held, an underground settlement is behind a locked underground door inside the rebel base, filled with oxygen tanks, similar to District 13. Most of District's 12's citisens don't even know about the base and our war defences. Me and Peeta are aparantly one of the few people that do know since we are victors.

I personally don't think that us being victors should even give us an advantage at all. Why should we know about the base instead of most people on 12?

But the rebels are wanting me to be their mockingjay again to rule over the Capitol once more and stop the Games for good. Part of the deal of convincing me was going to get Willow, me and Peeta think. With a new President. A new leader.

Not that anyone knows who this will be yet.

Walking past the seam always upset me. It reminds me of my old life with my Mom and Prim. How hard I had to hunt and try to find food for us everyday. I could never put that sort of pressure on Willow to support everyone, I can still to this day not understand why my Mother left me to it. Even with depression.

I still feel helpless to the seam now, eventhough I still do hunt and donate as much food as I can to them.

"Were here," Peeta states gloomly. I grip his hot hand tighter than before, awaiting to see our daughter.
