After weeks of intense tests, treatments and pure boredom, I was finally told by Dr Martinez that I could be discharged from the hospital room I was permanently stuck in. Within an hour of being told I was getting healthy enough to be an outpatient in recovery, Mom, Dad and Teal had all came to witness me finally venture out of the place I had grew a huge hatred for over the three weeks.

I hadn't been allowed out of the room since Teal had taken-well, wheeled me to the cafeteria for lunch. This is because of what happened not long after...Despite Dr Martinez agreeing this may be a good idea for me, I was later violently sick the whole night and had to be put under lots of anaesthetic's the next day. Teal felt guilty, but of course it wasn't her fault which I reassured her countless times. The last thing I'd ever want was for her to feel guilty. But I have been getting better these past few weeks. Enough to consume foods and enough to stand and walk.

"All done." Smiled Dr Martinez, straightening the sheets of documents Mom and Dad had been signing. "You're a free woman."

"It's about time," I said drawing out my breath, making everyone in the room laugh. I smiled feeling happy about leaving and started getting out of the bed.

"Not so fast," warned Martinez, bring a wheelchair to my attention.

What the hell?!

"Seriously?" I ask annoyed. "Haven't I been not moving for long enough?!"

"It's mandatory when leaving the ward Willow." Says my Dad reasoning. "It is in hospitals."

"Right. Whatever. Just as long as I can walk without everyone staring at me by some point..."

I don't know if Mom, Dad, Teal and Anna (Martinez) thought this was sarcasm or not, but nevertheless, they all bit their lips worryingly.

Mom and Dad took me to the room they lived in and I was finally allowed to get up and walk. Teal wished me the best and said she'd come see me later after going to see her Mom.

The room was small, with a three quarter bed beside a single with a plain bedside table to separate them. The room, as well as the interior, was all an un-homely white; a pristine white. The sort of white I remember the capitol rooms where they experimented on me having...

"Nice," I lie, saying anything to push thoughts out of my head. I look around again, already bored, then back to my parents both agitated. "Um, what's up?" I ask knowing something was bothering them.

"Nothing to worry about," my Dad tries to smile, ruffling my hair like he used to do when I was a kid. "Are you sure that you're okay walking by yourself?"

"Yes." I say annoyed. "But stop avoiding my question. What's wrong?"

Mom sighs before saying; "We uh...have a meeting, its important actually."

"Is it about being the mockingjay?" She nods in response. "Then go you have to. Both of you."

"You're more important. We need to make sure you're safe and well so we're staying with you."

"And I am safe and well! We're underground surrounded by guards and there's no one from the capitol here. You heard Dr Martinez as well, she says I'm well enough to be discharged! I get you're worried in case I will be taken from you again but I won't I'm not in the games anymore. I get that you both want to protect me but since I've been awake everyone has been suffocating me with watching me and always having to be, like, three feet away from me," (well except Drakob). "-But I'm 16. I am not a kid anymore! Let me do what I want!"
