*Another picture of Willow with her braid in*
"How much closer now to the forest?" I ask Drakob, stamping my feet furiously on the ground at the snow in pure fustration.
We had been hiking around the mountains for hours and we still hadn't got anywhere. I had a feeling we are just walking in circles.
"I don't know," He grumbles, "we probably just need to walk round here." He gestures ahead. "Then we might make it to the forest." He adds uncertainly.
"Well can we rest?" I ask sitting down on a mountain ledge. "It's absolutely freezing because of this weather, and not to mention that I'm hungry." My stomach rumbles just as I say this as if to show him that.
"We still have to go on. There might be some animals to hunt it the forest, but I can't see anything here." I nod slowly annoyed with him. "Are you not hungry Drakob? Not even a little?"
He stops in his tracks. "Well yeah Willow, of course I am. Everyone here probably is."
"When do you last eat?" I ask concerned. He shrugs his shoulders trying to doge the question.
"It really does not matter."
I ignore him. "At breakfast yesterday?" He nods. Why didn't he say? He must be starving. I rummage in my bag to find the last four biscuits that I left earlier. I would give anything to eat them right now, but Drakob needed them more than me. "Here," I place the packet in his hand before I stop myself keeping them.
"No they're yours. Keep them," Drakob tries to give them back.
"No, I've already eaten enough today," I lie to convince him. "Go on. Just have them Drakob."
"But you said you were hungry before Willow."
"Yeah well...I only said that...because...." Wow I really wasn't convincing Drakob one bit. He leans his weight to one side and raises an eyebrow sarcastically. "Ugh, just have it Drakob. Please."
He then rolls his eyes at me and takes a bite, eating one of them whole. "Happy? Now here." He tries to give them back to me.
"Nope, they are yours," I simply walk ahead of him, rejecting his offer. "Are you coming or what?" I shout to him and lead the way.
***
It was pitch black now and me and Drakob could no longer see where we where going. But it still felt like we hadn't got anywhere because we where still hiking around the mountains and not very close to the forest still.
Honestly, I am scared to go into the forest from what Drakob said-and not to mention that all the tributes that are alive are in there. But I want to find Autumn to see if she's alive, to see if she was ok at least.
"Should we sleep here?" He asks stopping at the small patch of flat surface.
"Yeah." I stop and drop my bag pack. "I got a pop up disguise tent with this bag so we may be able to fit into here together with a push an-" I stop realising how wrong I sound. Drakobs face tells me. "I mean that...erm...."
"I get it, I get it." He finally cracks a smile...amused? "It's ok, I can just sleep outside."
"Don't be so stupid! A career or anyone for that matter could kill you at any moment." I point out to him sounding serious. "It already happened to me.
"Obviously." He snaps back sarcasticlly. We only found one another only a couple of hours ago, and we are already on edge with each other. "But maybe they won't."
I wonder what my parents are thinking watching us right now.
"But we are in The Hunger Games Drakob. Anything can happen at any moment. Just be safe." A gust of cold wind hits me one more making my teeth chatter, "besides, you'll be frezing, so just sleep with me for the night."
Drakob lets out a whoop of laughter. "Sure Willow, I'll make an exeption just for you and sleep with you for the night. Your treat."
OMG what will my Mom and Dad be thinking now? Right I really need to stop sounding so wrong, particually in front of Drakob.
"Ugh, your so dirty minded," I shudder. "Get over it already."
"Never," he mocks.
I roll my eyes at his childish behaviour and get the pop up tent out of my bag pack opening it up from the zip up bag.
"Wow," Drakob says in suprise. "That actually looks quite convincing. It would defenoutly fool me. I would pass that thinking it was a bush."
I sigh. "Not everyone thinks so," he looks at me suprised. "The boy from District 9 didn't think so last night. He tried to kill me while I was sleeping in it." I wish I never brought it up to Drakob now how I killed him. I regret this.
The boys look that he gave me as he died and the girl that I shot directly in the eye kept flashing in my head like a neon syrin.
Oh God.
"Sorry. Was that the boy you-"
"Killed." I swallow. "...Yes." My anexity started rising dramaticlly. I try hard to hide this from him and and from the people watching me in Panem.
"Look Willow..."
Before Drakob can even speak, a girl is charging towards us with a bow and arrow in her hand pointing it at me.
She shoots.
Before I can react, Drakob pushes me, making me fall down hard on the snowy ground with a loud thump. The arrow she shot did skim my abdoman, I know that for definout. So...why can I feel a sharp pain on my right side?
My vision is blurring, fading now.
I try to focus on Drakob from afar. Smashing something harshly on the mountian side, brutally with blood exploding. As if it was a sick joke of a pinata. That girls head.
A cannon goes off to mark a death, that girls death.
He runs back to me now.
My vision is now midnight black and shadowed.
I'm passed out.
So thats it from this chapter!
I'm trying as hard as I can to get many out:)
