"What happened to me?" I repeat sitting up, rubbing my head. Knots are tangled in my hair and I can feel crispy leaves crumbled into them. Drakob and Fletch also come running over and kneel down to meet me. "Will someone please just tell me what's going on?!" I demand. There facial expressions looked relieved.

"Your finger," Drakob points at the finger that I pricked on the tree from what I can last remember. It has some sort of hard substance covering my cut. This reminded me of dried hot glue. "The bark you pricked it on infected your finger, causing you to pass out."

"You got a sponsor from your parents as soon as you passed out," Autumn informs me. "The note attached to the medicine that we had to apply to your finger everyday." She hands a small strip to me written in very small font, saying:

Healing medicine for deadly infected wound by Poison Aileside Bark when penetrated into bloodstream. Apply generously thrice in a day. With love M + D

I could tell the bottom part was a hidden message from my parents. They would of said more but I'm guessing that they where restricted to what they could say.

I love them so much.

"Thank you," I look up to the clear sky mouthing. "I love you too."

"That's why you vomited blood then fainted while you where climbing up the tree." Flashes of the night were coming back to me now. "I caught you just in time. I...we thought you were a gonner." Drakob's voice starts cracking into a whisper. "Im so happy you're alive Willow."

I really don't get Drakob, one minute he is acting as I he hates me and doesn't care about anything, then the next, it's as if he...likes me? No. He doesn't like me, he makes out he doesn't every day...But he is hiding something from me. If it's not that, then what could it be then?

"Really?" I ask sarcastically. Drakob says nothing then pulls me into a hug. Even though we haven't washed in days (or weeks?) his scent is soothing and relaxing. Drakob made me feel so content sometimes, I think I-

No. I don't like him.

He's just a moaning pain in the butt. Nothing more than that. Soon one of us will probably have to kill the other if no one else does.

I cant like him. I don't like him.

"Um Willow," Fletch tries to catch my attention. It takes a couple more seconds for me and Drakob to pull back from our hug.

I look into his seam eyes up close, nearly identical to my Moms. I've always love grey eyes and have secretively envied my Moms. His face is so chiseled and handsome. I've never really payed much attention to his looks apart from now. We are normally always arguing or too angry with one another to notice.

He has always been known to be 'good looking' at school, I guess. But like I said, I never really payed attention to him at school. Or any boy for that matter.

Until...now.

"Do you want anything to eat?" Fletch offers.

"Yes please, that would be wonderful Fletch." Fletch jumps to it immeitly and heads up our food storage bit. They must of restocked it while I was out of it.

"How long was I unconscious for Drakob?"

"About a day," He answers. The look on my face makes him say; "It's ok Willow. Nothing to worry about, just two more tributes have gone."

Autumn stirs in, "A cannon went off last night and another this morning. The boy from last night was from seven." I nod, happy that I've missed most of the anthems playing since being here in The Hunger Games, it is horrible to watch.
