Katniss P.O.V

I know I shouldn't ask him this, but I really want to know. He never tells me anything.

Even though I don't too...

"What was it like Peeta? How bad did the Capitol really treat you?" I struggle to let out the last part.

Peeta's head starts twitching after I had asked him the question. I'm starting to really regret asking him this now.

Why couldn't I of just kept my mouth shut?!

His blue eyes start to develop that same sinister, dark look as when he-

Before I know it, Peeta pushes me against the metal wall, creating a large bang. His hands are clamped to my shoulders. I try to push away, but it's impossible. He's too strong. I can't move.

"Peeta!" I plead to him. "It's me! I'm your wife, Katniss Mellark!" I know it's useless, he won't believe me.

This only makes him worse; "Liar!" He hisses in my face, repetivly pushing me into the wall. "You're lying! You are a mutt, you KILLED my family!"

"But I didn't!" I cry, half from the physical pain. The other from emotional.

All these old memories of him saying the same stuff flashes in my head once again. I'm reliving this horrible nightmare. My worst dread coming to life once more.

Everything is wrong.

Willow is suppose to be here with me. I wish that the games never happened. Peeta shouldn't be having anymore flashbacks, this stopped years ago...or did it?

"You filthy mutt, you are just a cold blooded beast! You're nothing. NOTHING!"

Peeta moves his hands to my neck now, my shoulders feeling stiff and sore. He starts to tighten his grip harshly. My air supply is tightened completely. I try coughing for air and clawing his arms away since I'm too weak but it's no use at all.

I look at his face carefully as my vision darkens. Its so angry and full of rage, as if he had never seen light.

This isn't the Peeta I married.

He was caring, selfless and loved me. The boy who saved my life and gave me bread as I was practically starving to death.

He saved me.

Now he's killing me. It's all because of the destruction SNOW left behind.

I try with all my strength to gasp out the other person who means most to me. "Wil...low..." I watch his raging eyes slowly soften after I pant her name out tiredly. The stormy eyes calm slightly, starting to develop back to the usual blazing blue. His grip loosens from my neck completely.

Before I know it, Haymitch and someone I can't see clearly bursts into our room, both of them pulling Peeta away from me. Haymitch pulls something small out of his pocket and in a flash, tasers Peeta to the ground. His body spasms and twitches dramatically.

I let out a scream to see him be electrocuted and run to his side to stop it. Before I know it, an arm goes under my stomach and pulls me back, stopping me. I let out more pained scream and try once more to be by his side.

"Haymitch..." The man holding me back grunts. I try kicking him out of the way more. "She's-"

"Katniss." Haymitch says comfortingly, shuffling over to me. "He will be ok later. Calm down and come with me." He commands me as if I was a small child being scolded.

"NO!" I explode in anger, kicking and punching whatever is in my reach to get to Peeta.

"I didn't want to do this..." He pulls out the small taser again.
