Chapter 16

Peter's Pov:

After we burst into the kitchen we had some breakfast. Well first Clint, Pietro and I changed into dry clothes. Tony had made waffles and they were delicious! But I'm starting to think everything I eat here will be delicious.

"So Peter, we have some things to discuss," Tony says.

"Okay," I say. We're all sitting in the living room area. "What are we discussing?".

"Well we do have to talk about adoption arrangements and such, but we also think it's good to know more about you." Steve explains.

"Um okay.." I say, "Where do we start?".

"How about we start with how you became Spiderman?" Bruce suggests.

"Yeah I'm very curious about your suit," Tony says.

"Uh well I got bit by a radioactive spider and then I got powers." I say. "Then I made a suit with parts I found and things I 'borrowed' from my school.".

"You built your suit!?" Bruce says impressed.

"He also built his phone" Tony adds.

"Wow..."

"How long ago did you get bit?" Nat asks.

"Shortly after I became homeless, I didn't become Spiderman for about a year though." I say a bit embarrassed.

"Wow, so you were nine when you first started?" Steve says obviously impressed.

"Yeah, I wish I started right away though." I say looking down. This is something I think about all the time.

"Hey Cinnamon Roll, it's okay. You were eight at the time. Also how many nine year olds have you heard of who fight crime?" Pietro says giving me a hug.

"Yeah I guess," I mumble.

"Peter you are amazing! Don't ever feel like you're not doing your part because you are." Bucky says seriously.

"Thanks you guys." I say starting to smile.

"Just a quick question, how did you survive out there for six years?" Wanda asks.

"It actually wasn't that bad... My powers helped me out a lot with it. I have to admit I did steal a lot of stuff though."

"Kid it was bad, nobody deserves to be homeless for six years, let alone someone so young." Tony says.

We continue talking and answering questions. They all seem pretty impressed, but I'm just happy they don't pity me and treat me weird.

"So how do you feel about being adopted?" Tony finally asks.

"We'd all really love too, but it's totally up to you." Nat says.

I can't hold it in any longer, I start crying. And once I start I can't stop.

I'm so embarrassed, why do I keep crying infront of them.

"Peter it's okay."

"And we'll never judge you for crying. It's okay,".

"It'dd be a-a d-dream come t-true," I finally managed to get out.

"Aww come here Cinnamon Roll," Pietro says holding me close.

"Peter we all already love you so much," Nat says.

"We'd never let anything happen to you," Clint says.

"I love you all too guys," I say and it looks like that just made most of there days.

"We are out of Poptarts, guys!" Thor says sadly.
