Chapter Four: Changed

Sarah grinned after Ge closed her open mouth with his two fingers. She was super shocked, to think that after 15 months they would be that close after all the awkward things that happened between them the past few months, and for him of course to call her baby girl. Sarah thinks about it for a long time, while staring at his twinkling eyes while mixed emotions prevailed on her heart. Awkward man kung awkward, but one moment kinilig sya deep inside.

Gerald laughed. "Is there something wrong?"

Her eyes rolled around while smiling. She stepped backward. "Nothing. Hi! Long time no-----"

"Text?" Gerald grinned.

She nodded and smiled. "Pwede. Kamusta?"

"I'm fine, very fine."

They felt the world was theirs for a moment, after Nhila and Fred left. But its alright, though. Sarah's mind said. There's a lot catching up to do.

Gerald lied to her. Di talaga sya 'very fine'.He felt his heart rumble with pain, still reminiscing last 15 months... on that hurtful night of August when their sweet courting days had came to an end... "Ayoko na..." Her voiced echoed on his mind. But when her hand caress his, nawala agad ang problema ng puso nya. Even for an instance.

"Lika na," Sarah said to him while holding his wrist and walked fast. Buti di nya nararamdaman ang heartbeat ko. My pulsebeat is roaring with happiness.

He followed her way, and saw their way to the main site, where the offscreen crew are sitting down on the grassland under the sun and a little tent. As they came closer, parami ng parami ang tumitingin sa kanila. He became conscious, so he shook his hand, a signal for her to release it. She didn't. In fact, she held his hand tight.

He rushed to her back. "Sasa," he whispered on her ear. "Di ka ba naiinsecure?"

She shook her head while still walking and holding his hand. "Dapat ba?"

"Sarah, people are staring at us. Surely, nasa tabloid na agad tayo bukas. That's why I shook your arm. To let it fall."

"Talaga? Akala ko kasi maluwag ang hawak ko sa wrist mo. Kaya hinawakan ko na lang kamay mo. Sorry."

He smiled. She changed. She became more fierce. Kaya nga maha--- Oops.

They reach the place already and sat behind all of them. Everyone whispered to themselves and exchanged squeals of kilig.

He felt insecure. "I told you."

"Bayaan mo sila, I learned from rumors already."
