Prologue

Eirra Aphrodite Wesley

Hell. I've been through hell.

"I love you, Aphrodite. I really do"

I used to hear that voice. I used to smile at that words but now, i cry everytime i think of those.

"Smile. I love your smile"

He used to make me smile, but now, he always makes me cry.

"Hindi ko hawak ang buhay pero umaasa akong mabubuhay ako ng matagal para pagsilbihan at mahalin ka"

I bit my lip. He said that. He said that but...he's gone now. He's a liar!

"Aphrodite. My Aphrodite"

With a tears running down my cheeks, i roamed my eyes and found him staring at me. Standing few steps away from me with a smile on his lips.

"P-Phoenix"

I tried to pull myself up but i can't. I feel so weak.

"P-Phoenix"

"Yes, my love"

Lumunok ako at itinakip ang parehong kamay sa aking bibig saka humagulhol. He's here! My Phoenix is here!

"Y-You came b-back"

Sadness filled his eyes as he stared at me. My heart ache. He's sad. Why?

"I can't leave, Aphro. I can't now that you're in pain"

Kumunot ang noo ko. I should be the one who can't move on. He left me! He left me with a broken heart. My Phoenix..no!

"Please let go, my love. I can't be with you anymore"

His words are like a knife. Tumagos ang mga ito sa puso ko. Why? Bakit kailangan ko syang bitawan?

Umiling ako. Sunod-sunod na halos mahilo ako. Ayoko! Ayoko syang pakawalan. Ayokong bitawan sya. Tell me how can i forget him when i love him so much

"N-No! N-No, i can't! I l-love you so m-much, Phoenix. I won't l-let you g-go"

With a trembling knees and shaking hands, i pulled myself up which i succesfully did. Just when i was about to speak, he started fading away. N-No! No no, Phoenix!

"N-No! N-No Phoenix! Don't l-leave me! D-Don't"

He smiled, genuinely. "Please be happy."

Kahit nanlalabo ang aking mga mata, lakas loob akong humakbang upang makalapit sa kanya pero hindi pa man ako nakakalapit ay tuluyan na syang nawala sa aking paningin kasabay ng pagkabuwal ko.

Hindi! Hindi pwede! Phoenix!

"Aphro!"

Suminghap ako. Lumuluhang nagmulat ng mata at habol ang hininga na bumangon. Nasa tabi ko si Edrix, bakas sa mukha ang pag-aalala, may hawak na isang basong tubig habang hinahagod ang aking likod.

"Aphro" tila nahihirapang tawag nya muli sakin.

"P-Phoenix" kasabay ng pagbanggit ko sa pangalan ng lalaking mahal ko ang sunod sunod na hikbing pinakawalan ng labi ko.

Mabilis akong kinabig ni Edrix at ikinulong sa kanyang mga bisig habang hinahaplos ang aking buhok.

Phoenix! Phoenix, you jerk! Bakit gusto mong kalimutan kita? Ayoko! Ayoko, Phoenix!

"You shoot me, a critical hit. How can i possibly forget you when your name was engraved in my heart the moment you shoot me with those stares. Tell me, Aphrodite, how can i forget you?" Edrix eyes are throwing me painful stares.

Umiwas ako ng tingin, "I love Phoenix, is that enough to make you stop?"

I don't wanna hurt him pero hindi ko maalis-alis sa puso ko si Phoenix. How can i possibly love someone else when i already surrendered my heart the moment Phoenix confessed his feelings for me?

Naalarma ako nang suminghap si Edrix, sarkastiko syang tumawa, kasabay n'yon ang paglandas ng luha mula sa kanyang mga mata. E-Edrix!

"You're heartless, Aphro. Too bad, i wasn't able to avoid your deadly shots, now i regret loving you."

That...hurts!

And with that, he left and he never showed up again. Just when i realize how much i like him.
