Epilogue: Happily Ever After

"Wake up!" I yelled in Aden's ear. He shot up in fear and looked around.

"You scared the shit out of me!" he yelled.

"Good, you weren't waking up to my kisses so I had to improvise," I laughed. "I'm gonna go wake up Belle and Amelia!" I quickly stood up and ran across the hall, to my old room.

Amelia slept so peacefully in the bed. She looked like a baby, fast asleep. Well too bad, that baby needed to wake up. Before I could open my mouth, she held her hand up, "don't you even try it."

I huffed, "how did you know I was coming to wake you up?"

"Are you stupid? You act like we haven't been best friends for years. Instead of calling me a million and one times, I knew you'd probably come in here and jump on me," Lia groaned.

"Fine, I'll go wake up Belle and Alice," I stuck my tongue out at her.

"Too late, I already mind linked them. They're up and downstairs, waiting for you to help make breakfast," Lia smiled.

"You're no fun!" I shouted. "Fine, I'll just drag you out of bed," I ran up to her legs before she could react and dragged her out of bed.

She groaned but got up, "I hate you."

"Merry Christmas," I called as I skipped down the hall.

When I got downstairs, Alice and Belle were already making coffee and hot chocolate. For the last five years, it has been a tradition that every Christmas morning, the girls and I meet up at someone's house and do Christmas. Christmas consisted of breakfast and then presents. This year since we all live together, we don't have to go anywhere but downstairs.

Alice and Belle both mumbled a sleepy 'Merry Christmas' and I smiled widely. Not only did I love Christmas, but I had a special present for everyone.

As Lia and Aden came down the stairs, I had already started on the pancakes. Daniel and Collen followed after a while. Belle was in charge of cutting up all the fruit and Alice was in charge of cooking the bacon. Aden grumbled something about a headache, but I brushed him off. Lia took her station and continued making coffee and hot cocoa.

"C, I have your special cocoa," Aden called.

"Okay, bubs. Put it down on the island while I finish up the last of the pancakes," I flipped the pancake over.

Once breakfast was fully made, we brought it all to the living room and ate in there. Everyone had coffee except for Lia and I. Although it was early in the morning, we were always the ones who drank the chocolate over the coffee.

"When do we do presents?" Alice jumped.

"After breakfast," Belle and Lia chorused.

"Uh, I think this year we can make a new tradition and eat breakfast while we open presents," I smiled widely.

"Actually?" they chorused again.

"Yeah, our family is bigger and newer so it's time for new traditions."

"I like this Charlotte, can we keep her?" Belle laughed.

"No, she's mine," Aden playfully growled.

Slowly, we all passed around our Christmas presents. I decided that we started with the newest members of our personal pack, Alice, Daniel, and Collen. First, Alice opened her presents and nearly cried. Aden and I got her and Daniel matching necklaces. They were made of two mini handcuffs with their names engraved in them. Daniel was super excited about the present that Belle had gotten him. It was a mug with his and Alice's face on it. Collen, on the other mind, was a little angry at his gag gift. Belle, the funny trickster she is, had gotten him a lingerie set. She claimed that is was all his and she wouldn't wear it.

Belle's favorite present was the pajama set that I had gotten her. It had different types of dogs on it and had her name engraved on it. She laughed at the irony of it. Even though I got Amelia the same one, but with her name, her favorite present was from Aden. Aden had gotten her a spellbook with several types of spells from various types of magic. Since Lia was new to the whole witch thing, she didn't know much.

Finally, it was mine and Aden's turn. I let Aden go first, much to his protest. Alice and Daniel got Aden a folder organizer. They claimed it was because his study is always a mess with papers and he can never find anything. As much as Aden denied it, I knew it was true and thanked them for it. Belle and Collen got him new bedsheets and I glared at Belle. The only reason he got those was that I complained about how plain and boring Aden's were. Lia's present had me confused. She had gifted both of us two crystal.

"It's a crystal," I dead planted. "Thank you."

"I know you're confused, but it's a special crystal," she smiled sweetly.

"Oh, okay," I nodded. "What does it do?"

"Oh! Duh, of course. It's a crystal that allows you to see things then they're not in front of you," Lia explained. I still looked confused and she laughed. "Okay, for example, if you have baby, you can look into the crystal and see your baby sleep while you're not in the room! Like a baby monitor, but for everything." I gave her a funny look but just nodded.

Lastly, it was my present for Aden. I told him I wanted to wait till last to give it to him and he just rolled his eyes and called me dramatic. I loved all of my presents. Belle and Collen gave me a bracelet with a matching one for Aden that had our wedding date on it. Alice and Daniel got me some more shoes because Alice claimed I only ever wear two pairs; my boots and moccasins. Lately, Aden handed me a large, badly wrapped, present. I opened it to reveal moosehide moccasins and messenger bag.

"Wait this is so cute. Is this from my hunt?" I asked.

"Yes. I had one of the women that sews the first timer's hunts sew you the shoes and bag," he beamed.

"You're so sweet. You spoil me," I laugh.

"Anything for you," he kissed.

"Ew, PDA," Lia groaned jokingly.

"Shut up. Okay! Last present. It's from me to Aden," I smiled widely, handing him a small box. The box was about the size of a necklace case and was wrapped beautifully in paper and ribbon.

"What is it?" he asked.

"You're supposed to open it, not ask questions!' I scolded him.

He rolled his eyes an unwrapped the box. Slowly, he lifted up the top and unfolded the tissue paper. "Wait, what is this?" Aden stood up.

"You know what it is," I teased.

"This isn't a prank?" Aden's eyes teared up.

"What is it?" Alice and Belle asked.

"You're actually pregnant?"

"Yes," I whispered.

Aden let his tears fall and quickly grabbed me in a hug and spun me around. "You're gonna have a baby. Our lil pup," he cooed.

The girls squealed in joy, they were going to be aunties. The boys kind of just smiled at us and said congratulations.

"Merry Christmas," I smiled.

The End.
