" Ow coach" Miles groaned as our coach smacked him with a paper bag of food.
Me and the guys tried to conceal our laugh as Miles was blamed yet again for something that all of us were guilty for.
" I told you to bulk up your meals to not look so skinny, and what do you do? Get wasted to just regurgitate all your food" he whacked Miles once again.
" Cole is the only one out of you jackasses who isn't fucking his future up, get it together soon" Coach turned around and left the lunchroom, slamming the door as he left.
Miles glanced at me. " what, I didn't tell him" I shrugged.
Since we got back from America coach has made sure that we train every day, twice a day. I realised that I needed to manage my time better, Alexis made me realise that.
I headed out to get changed, ready for training. What i didnt expect was to see kyle practically towering over Montana in the boys changing rooms.
I coughed, getting their attention.
" Good, you're here. Do you wanna explain to him why you were spying in the changing rooms?" Kyle said stepping away from her. I crossed my arms and stared at her.
"Just get out" i said as i walked inside, reaching for the ends of my tshirt.
" but" both of them said staring at me.
I just ignored them and grabbed my gym clothes. Thankfully she just decided to leave, i knew she would when i didn't pay attention to her.
I turned around to Kyle " don't let her get what she wants, fuck knows why she was in here but don't get her thinking we are interested in anything she does.
Montana has no right to be in here, the guy's she's seeing inside even on the team so i will have to be more attentive if i see her around here again.
" Do you think she is up to something?" he asked sitting down on the bench.
I shrugged " probably"
I didn't have the time to be worrying about her when i have to concentrate on my game. The only girl I should be thinking about is Alexis.
"I'm telling you man, that girl of yours has changed you" Miles said walking in and heading to his locker. I shook my head " she hasn't changed me, i'm just more real when i'm with her"
Alexis has just made me realise what really is important.
" whatever man, you're different now" i rolled my eyes, slamming my locker shut.
I stormed out, pissed that they have to keep saying this to me. Miles has been weird with me ever since America and i'm starting to think that it's because i left them but did he really expect me to ditch my girlfriend, who got us the tickets.
Tonight after training my parents suggested that i buy her mother something to thank her and i completely understand, i should probably do that.
What makes a good present, i don't really know much about her family so i just need some ideas.
" where is your head today Cole" coach yells at me as i miss yet another shoot.
I dribble the ball between my legs " what the fuck do you buy your girlfriends mother as a thankyou present" i asked him, showing off how irritated i am.
He sighed out with relief " is that what you're worried about, seriously boy" he laughed at me.
" isn't she a war journalist or something, you have ties to war with your fancy family right?"
