After their sexual escapades and a short nap, the three women showered and got dressed for the day. Which really meant more pajamas. None of them actually wanted to do anything or go anywhere. They were content with just each other. Cyn and Emma were cozied up on the couch watching a movie while Delilah sat on the floor. She was putting together a puzzle.
"Delilah." Emma called.
"Yes, Mistress?" She answered absently. All of her focus was going towards the entirely too small pieces of the puzzle but Delilah enjoyed the challenge.
"Have you seen this movie?"
Delilah looked up for a moment, trying to recognize any of the characters. "Yes, ma'am."
"What happens at the end?" Emma asked. She was getting way too anxious and couldn't wait.
Delilah opened her mouth to say but Cyn interrupted. "No way, Mommy! Daddy, don't spoil it!" Cyn put her pacifier back in her mouth and snuggled back into her Mommy's embrace.
Emma groaned and pulled Cyn closer. She was actually afraid. She hated scary movies but always let Cyn talk her into them. How was someone so cute and sweet so into things so dark and gruesome?
Delilah went back to her puzzle. There was no real picture. Every piece was white. When it was completed it would just be a blank square. To think, after all of her hard work she would just break the puzzle up and put it back in its box. She laughed at the silliness of it.
Breaking them from their serene little bubble, the doorbell rang. Delilah started to get up to answer it but Emma stopped her. She needed the distraction from the movie. When she got to the door she was met with a smiling Harper. She was holding a container of cupcakes.
"Hi." Emma said.
"Hi, Emma!" She chirped. "Cyn is here, right?"
There was something different about Harper. In their short time around each other, Emma noticed that she wasn't exactly as bubbly as Cyn (then again, who was) but now it seemed like she was closer to it than before. Her smile was wide and genuine. It was almost like it was stapled on. She couldn't hide it if she tried. Emma nodded. "Yeah. Come in."
"Who was it?" Cyn asked as she heard the footsteps of her Mommy get closer.
"Me!" Harper announced.
Cyn almost fell off the couch. The last thing she was expecting to hear was her sister's voice. She crammed her pacifier into the pocket of her pajama pants. "Harper. What are you doing here? H-how did you-"
"I know! I know. I'm sorry for just showing up at your house unannounced, Delilah." Harper said.
"It's fine." Delilah mumbled as she continued to put the puzzle together.
Harper turned her attention to Cyn when it was obvious Delilah didn't care one way or the other. "I got the address from Jaxon. I went there first looking for you but he said you were here." Harper explained. Her head was so far in the clouds she didn't even notice the pacifier Cyn had in her mouth when she first walked in.
"Oh. Well yeah. Here I am. You can sit, Harp." Cyn said. Her attention was drawn to the cupcakes in her sister's hands. "Oooo are those for me??" She asked excitedly.
Harper smiled and handed the container over before sitting down. "Yes! I just wanted to say thank you to all of you really. Last night was a lot of fun."
Cyn sat up and grinned at her sister. "How much fun?" She asked menacingly.
"Cyn." Delilah and Emma said. Honestly they were just as curious but it was rude to pry.
