It's been a few days since I got to Cherryton Academy.  I've  tried to make more friends, but my social anxiety doesn't help me much.  Even at the music club, I don't feel much interest towards my classmates, they're really there for the food.

For now the only friend that I feel I really have is Juno, although I don't see her as much, since we are in separate grades, and that she's making more friends with whom to get together at lunch, still, we usually chat before going to sleep,  sometimes we play a few board games.

I've thought about joining Juno when she's with her group of friends at lunch, but I guess I still prefer to be alone sometimes to think.

Although I said that with only one friend I would be satisfied, I still feel that I want more.  I guess it's my ambition, by seeing Juno making friends so easily.

I yawn a little, as I walk back to my room after leaving school again.  Doing this at night only leaves me exhausted, but it's something I have to do.  Besides, I get the chance to see at that beautiful blood red moon. I stop walking for a second to see it again, it's really nice. I'm very lucky they haven't discovered me yet.

As always, I avoid the guards, the headlights and the cameras.  While at the same time I'm thinking about how to avoid falling asleep in class.  They have caught my attention a couple of times, and if they discover that I am keeping awake they'll start to investigate.  I've already had to lie to Juno saying I'm going to the bathroom, it was once I tripped over my own bag, when I was in a hurry.

My thoughts are interrupted when I step on a stick.  That damn stick creaks as loud as if its purpose in life was to make the guards discover me.

Guard: Who's there?

And ... that's how it'll be.  OH NO!  I hide in the bushes that adorn the main building, hoping not to make a sound.  IF THEY DISCOVER ME I'M DOOMED!  I keep quiet hoping that there's still a way to safae this.

I hear the guard's footsteps approach, his footsteps getting stronger.  COME ON Y/N!  THINK FAST!  I look around trying to find a place to hide.  I turn to see the main building and discover that the door is open.  It's weird since all doors are closed after school.  Before I could keep thinking about it, the guard yells.

Guard: I know there's someone here. SHOW YOURSELF!!

I see how the light from the guard's flashlight is gradually getting brighter, but I still have time to escape.  It's not time to think, it's time to run!  Without thinking twice, I jump out of the bushes and run towards the building, everything feels in slow motion even though I do it in a matter of seconds.  Once inside, I manage to close the door as quietly as possible to not alert the guard.

I managed to hide just in time, because as soon as I closed the door, the guard, who seems to be a snake, arrived and looked around.  I spied through the door and saw the guard looking around, trying to find me.  I hold my breath, fearing he'll hear it.  I also avoid making any movement that might give me away somehow.  After a while, the guard takes his last look and walks away.  Finally I let out a sigh, being able to breathe.  Even though all this had happened in a matter of seconds, I felt it as if it had been an eternity.

I wonder again why the door was open, and in such an obvious way.  I shake my head to stop thinking about it, for now, I must find a way to go to my room someh-.

WHAM

I hear a very loud noise, it sounded like the one of a door that has been slammed, really really hard. What's happening?

Is any other student running away from the guards?  I can't help but be curious.  I know the most logical thing would be to run away from the building and get to my room, but before I know it, my legs are walking by themselves heading towards the noise.  I wonder what caused that noise and why I'm heading there.  Maybe it's some thief who managed to infiltrate or something, this can be dangerous.  My tail is tucked between my legs, but still I keep walking.  WHY?  I don't know.  I should stop, curiosity killed the ca-... again... I keep saying those racist expressions.  STOP IT ME.  IN EVERY-WAY THAT I CAN THINK ABOUT! I MUST STOP!

My thoughts stop as soon as I arrive in front of a classroom door.  That door ... is extremely knocked.  It's almost destroyed ... Something happened here.  Something bad.

My curiosity is more intense now, it's so intense that I forget to escape.  I approach the door.  It's almost destroyed.  Who could have done something like that?  I look under the door, I can see a light shining from below, something is on, a white light.  Would someone still be there?

I know it's dangerous, but I still open the door slowly.  The door creaks when opened.  What I see is a projector on, I don't take the time to read the presentation it shows.  I look around, I don't see anyone, I walk slowly down the steps, being alert as I look from left to right in case I find someone.  This is scary, like in a horror movie.  I turn to look at the projector, which is in the back of the classroom.  I still don't see anyone. Could there be some kind of ghost?.. Nah that's ridiculous.

I take another step, but in this one, I hear a sound, a liquid one, as if I had stepped on a puddle.  I stop when I hear it and I look down, where I see a puddle of a dark red liquid. My ears go up, just like I feel goosebumps.  Is ... IS THAT BLOOD?! I see another puddle that follows another and another and so, all these give a trail of blood that I follow slowly with my eyes. The blood trail ends.  In front of it, I find a huge mass filled with blood.
And that mass ... is a person.

I can feel like my eyes were popping out of my face and my heart skips a beat when I see the rotting body of a classmate.  I try to scream, but the impact I feel doesn't let me make any sound.  Instead, I try to step backward, but I stumble, I can't even keep my balance.  All I can do is crawl back still looking at the body in shock. He's dead. He-he's DEAD!! Someone... s-someone DEVOURED HIM!!!

As I crawl, I touch the student's blood with my own hands.  I turn to see them, I feel the blood, the wet and fresh blood.  I see it on my own hands. It is until now, when the rotten smell of the body arrives. That arouses fear in me.  Which is why I'm finally able to scream.

I Scream.  I give the loudest scream I've ever given.  This is too much.  I get up and run away from that room, slamming the door as hard as I heard it before. I run as fast as I can.  I leave the building, I feel the tears in my eyes that make me have a blurred vision. I don't focus on avoiding the cameras or the guards anymore, I just want this to end. I run to the building where my room is, jump the steps, and get there as fast as I can. I don't care if I make noise anymore.  I open the door to my room and go in with all the speed in the world, slamming the door and leaning against it as I hyperventilate.

J: ...Y/N?

I woke Juno up, but I don't think about it.  I hold my head tightly trying to forget what I saw.  My breath is shaky.

J: Y/N, What happened?  Are you ok?!

She kneels in front of me, and holds my hands, trying to calm me down. It is then that she sees the blood on my hands. Juno gasps in surprise and stops holding them.

J: Is that blood?!  You're bleeding?! What's going on?!

I stare at Juno, she looks terrified.  What am I going to tell her?  I-I can't forget those images in my head.  I close my eyes and inhale. I stare back at Juno.

Y/N: ..... Something happened.
