Y/N: LEGOSHI!!
That was a shot!! Is Legoshi hurt?! I quickly get up from the wet wooden floor, completely ignoring the pain in my scratched arm. If he's hurt... I'll kill him!
My instincts don't let me think. Before I knew it, I had already thrown myself at the lion, dropping all my weight on him.
My fangs feel sharper than ever, but that's when I hear the mobster lion grunting in pain, even so, I keep growling at him.
Legoshi, who is behind me, puts his hands on the lion's shoulders and grabs him tightly, he stands up, pulling the lion closer to his fangs making me stop being over him, pulling me away from the fight.
It is then that I see the lion's ear is covered in blood, the shot I heard hurt him and not Legoshi, I feel a sudden relief, but my concern for Haru and our lives remains.
Legoshi: Hey old man! Tell me truth!!
Legoshi keeps showing his fangs, he doesn't seem to be afraid of the moment in which he holds the shoulders of the mobster tighter. He doesn't take his eyes off him.
All is left for me now is to watch since it seems he has everything under control, even so, I look around to make sure another mobster doesn't come, which is not the case. It's strange, but that's fine for me. I look at the scene again and I hope the lion gives us answers.
Legoshi: I don't smell any blood from you.. Any of HER blood that is. That means she's still alive...
He suddenly grips the lion's mane tightly, which makes him grunt in pain again.
Lion: NO- Please DON'T!!
I can see the fear in his eyes. At least Haru is alive.. or so I hope.
Legoshi: I know it.... I know the smell of her blood..
Although what he says sounds quite disturbing, he's right. I suppose there can be some advantages to having a wild instinct you can't control...
Legoshi forcefully shakes the mobster's head, exposing his neck.
Y/N: ... What are you doing?..
Legoshi: Haru is MINE!
Holy shit he's going to kill him!
Legoshi: Haru is MY game!!
Y/N: Wait!!
He brings his muzzle towards the mobster's neck, but then stops abruptly.. his game?
I see the lion takes the chance as Legoshi's distracted and in a matter of milliseconds I see he prepares his fist which holds the weapon ready to hurt him.
Y/N: LOOK OUT!
My reflexes make me see everything in slow motion, but before I can even progress it, I grab Legoshi's shirt from his back and I pull him towards me with all my strength.
Achieving that the lion's blow was against the air and not him, we both fell to the ground.
The mobster lion starts to get up, so before he can do anything, I unconsciously decide to protect Legoshi. My fear and my instincts make me protect him in some way.
Without being able to think about it, I run to the lion who's maintaining balance when standing up and I punch him on the nose with all my strength.
The lion grunts of pain again and covers his face. My fist ached and I held my wrist. I turn to see Legoshi who saw everything, he looks worried.
