Silence.  It's all there is.  We're all silent, we're gathered in front of Louis, who rests on a stretcher in the nurse's office.  He has an IV stick attached.

After he passed out, we had to immediately take him to the nurse's office.  It turns out he fractured his leg.  All this time, pretending he was fine, he hid his pain so he could put on the play.

He hid it from everyone.  But I found out.  He was hurt and I was too stupid not to have done anything.  All this time, all I've done is pretend I didn't know.  Even now.   It's right now, when I realize that what I did, is a genuine stupidity.

They're all hushed.  Until we heard the sheets on the stretcher move.  We all observe that Louis is awake and getting up. We all approach in anguish.  Asking if he's okay.

Louis: What did.. Wait! I remember.. What about the audience?

Seriously?  Is that what worries him now? He only worries that they've seen him?  People look at each other, until Sanu speaks to him.

Sanu:  Don't worry. You collapsed until the curtain was fully shot. They didn't saw anything at all.

Louis breathes a sigh of relief.

Louis: ..Ok.

Oh Louis .. If I wasn't worried I would be yelling at you in anger.

Bill: Anyway.. It's 8 o'clock at night. The medical team checked you out and according to them you broke your left leg.

Louis's face reveals surprise and tension.  He looks at us and sees me among all.  He captures the guilt and anger I feel.  So I look away.

Bill: And which by that means you wont be able to take the stage for tomorrow's performance.

Sanu: Bill please.

Bill: What? What good is it to hide the truth? Especially for Louis?

Sanu: Yes but even so...

Although it's hard.  Bill's right.  There's no reason to hide the truth from Louis.  Although he has hidden it from us.

Some people defend the president, but I don't.  I look at the deer, whose gaze seems annoyed and thoughtful.

Louis: ... So..

Louis's word interrupts everyone, causing them to pay attention and stop arguing.

Louis: One broken leg and now I'm helpless?

What?  I can't believe it.  Everyone denies it, including me.  But what's wrong with him?  He broke his leg. It's clear that the people who cares for him are going to worry. What's he misinterpreting?  What I would give to have someone who would worry if something happened to me ...

Louis: Bill..

Bill: Uh?

Louis: You'll be my replacement.

Bill: Huh?

Louis: For tomorrow's show. You'll be playing Adler.

Wow, that was a rapid choice.  Of course that there's no time to audition.

Bill stays a few seconds progressing the news that has just been given.

Bill: Uh... Uh?... UH?! Are you sure about that?!

Woah!  Ok he's excited, I already noticed.

Louis: Yes, of course I am. You've worked harder than any of the actors. You deserve it.
