Lion: How interesting, a pair of young wolves browsing where they shouldn't. It must be my lucky day.
The lion is targeting us with his pistol. I can't believe this isn't the first time this week someone is pointing a gun at me. Is this going to become a habit?
Legoshi raises his hands and turns to the lion, I look at him and decide to do the same, this animal could easily kill us and not just threaten us.
From what I can see, it's easy to see he's a gangster. He's dressed in a suit, well groomed, with glasses, holding an umbrella so as not to get his expensive clothes wet, pointing a gun at us and he seems quite strong and calm to do this to us... used to having done it before.
Lion: Retaliation or solicitation, doesn't matter. Trespassing is forbidden.
Before I can think of a plan, Legoshi speaks to the gangster lion.
Legoshi: Ah, yes of course. Would you please hear me out? I'm here for a good reason-.
Lion: Oh no no no no no.
Sadly I knew that wasn't going to work. Legoshi peeked on me worried before the lion kept talking.
Lion: Don't try and take this chance away from me.
He looks at us with a malicious smile and eyes that show nothing but the desire to kill.
He begins to walk towards us, which makes us walk backwards to feel safe.
Lion: We felines have had a strong aversion towards you canines...
I can't see where he's taking us since I'm aware he doesn't shoot us while I hear he's a racist pig.
I don't know where were going until I hear the sound of the wet wood creaking. We're going to the bridge.
Lion: Were both ferocious animals but all you do is wag your tail, do stupid tricks and socialize. It gets on our nerves.
After taking other steps, he stops, so we stop too, since there's another group of lions beyond. It is then when I look where we are. We're right in the middle of the bridge.
He... he'll kill us here.
The lion is now a few steps from us. A shot... and it will blow our heads off.
Lion: And now I'm given the chance to shoot down a pair of wolves.
My ear twitches and my tail hides between my legs. This cannot end like this. There must be a plan. We HAVE to do something.
Suddenly I see that at my side, Legoshi takes a step forward with his hands still raised.
Y/N: ..Legoshi?
What are you doing?
The lion turns to look at him, squinting ready for a trap or something.
Legoshi: Do what you want to me... but let her go.
Y/N: NO! LEGOSHI!
I grip Legoshi's arm tightly before I even think about it, but my heart sinks at the thought that he would be able to give his life to save this ordinary wolf.
Legoshi tries to break free of my grip, but before there could be any silly discussion of "I would give my life for you" the gangster points the gun at us both and yells.
Lion: DON'T MOVE!!
To stop this, he grabs my arm and pulls me toward him.
Legoshi: Y/N!
I try to get away, but he's stronger than me.
Lion: This isn't decided by you idiot! I'll kill whoever I want!
He holds me tighter and turns to see me with his malicious smile.
Legoshi tries to do something but the gangster still points the gun at him.
I try to get away and I look at him too, scared. The moment he looks at me in the eye, his smile fades away for a few seconds.
Lion: I know who you are.
Y/N: ...What?
He grips my arm tighter, digging his claws into my right arm, causing me to whimper in pain.
Legoshi: LET HER GO!
Lion: SHUT UP!!
He takes a step closer to Legoshi, aiming straight at his head.
Y/N: N-No!
Lion: This is the little slut that bit me in the field!
The gangster turns the hand with which he's aiming the gun for a few seconds so that we can see that his hand is bandaged. So he was the bastard who wanted to kidnap me yesterday...
I turn to see Legoshi desperate, he looks scared. This is not a good moment to say, I told you so..
Lion: It seems that my day only gets better and better, not only will I kill a wolf, but I'll also be able to take revenge on this damn bitch and my boss will have two white prey for dinner. Wow, they could even give me a promotion!
White prey?
I see Legoshi's face change when he hears that "white prey" thing. We both know that he's talking about Haru. This is when Legoshi begins to sniff.
In a matter of seconds I see his face change to an enraged one, he smelled her.
Legoshi: Tell me.... What did you do to her?
I feel the lion's claws inside my arm as warm blood drips from my arm. But the interest of knowing if Haru is ok has me more worried.
Lion: Aah, you're here to save that rabbit, now I understand.
I try with all my might not to yell for the pain but I can't help but shed some tears for the pain.
Lion: You'll find her inside up on the fifth floor. But I'm afraid you're too late. If you wanna see her you'll have to ask the boss to vomit.
No.. He must be lying.. Haru can NOT be dead. The fur on my tail raises and I try to get away from the stupid lion with more force.
Lion: I'm sure it's ok though, I doubt she's fully digested in his stomach yet.
That damn asshole jokes about this. How can someone be so cruel and vile to do this? I can't help but show my fangs and growl loudly, not realizing that Legoshi's doing the same.
Suddenly Legoshi pounces on the lion, holding his pistol tightly.
The lion to defend himself lets go of my hand to support both hands on the weapon, but in doing so he scratches my arm.
I yell in pain and fall on my knees to the wet wooden ground holding my arm. I feel the warm and wet blood dripping out of it. It burns.
With shaky breathes, I turn to see Legoshi who's fighting with the lion over the gun.
Everything moves so fast that I don't understand what's happening.
