Chapter 2

Laying on my bed, I stare mindlessly up at the ceiling above me. There was zero motivation in my body or mind, to crawl out from my room. Closing my crimson red eyes, I inhale a deep breath of air.

How much longer could we honestly go living like this? Most of the days we are at each other's throats. Living together in such refined spaces, it is starting to take its toll on all of us in a way.

It doesn't help that none of us have tasted human blood in over a month now. This made things worse for us, we were all growing starving, as I could feel my electric shocks flow throughout my body. Clenching my hands into fists, I try to suppress my powers, yet bright shocks emit from my body. I needed to feed soon, before I lost all complete control over myself.

"Sorry everyone." Blayze looked down, as he returned earlier from his hunt empty handed. "By the time I reached the town, the sun was just starting to rise. I had no time to sneak in, and grab anyone."

I really was hoping Blayze would bring us all back a meal. We need human blood.

Laying silently on my bed, I work on trying to control my powerful shocks. However, my cousins seem to never grant me such peace, when I am in need of it. Loud yelling, suddenly echoed through my closed door.

"DAMN THOSE FUCKING TWO!" I cursed out, my body emitted bright electric shocks. Jumping from my bed, I storm from my room. My usual deep crimson eyes, were bright red like fire, as my hands were clenched in fists. An aura of electric energy was flowing around my form, as I started to lose all control of my deadly gift.

Storming down the stairs, I suddenly see both Logan and Hayden standing between Xavier and Blayze.

"Both of you, seriously calm down!" Hayden spoke in a calming tone.

"If you both upset Drake again." Logan started to speak the moment I entered the room.

"Too late." Hayden sighed, as his one green eye landed right on me.

"WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS GOING ON!" I yell out in a demanding tone. My entire body was shaking, as electricity flowed within me. Suddenly a light bulb on the wall burst and shattered, falling to the floor.

My four cousins all stop, and stare at me as I start to lose all control.

Blayze rushed to me, he held out his wrist before me. "Drake feed!"

"No." I growled deeply. "You need to stop fighting with your brother!" I was beyond annoyed. My power pulsated within me, as yet another light bulb soon shattered.

"Damn it Drake!" Blayze raised his own wrist to his mouth, as he bit himself hard. My fire glowing eyes stared at his blood that started to drip down his arm. "DRINK IT!" He cried out, holding his bleeding wrist out to me.

My cousins all knew, my powers were the strongest out of all of theirs. Which meant, I was the most dangerous, if I lost control over them.

My hand grabbed Blayze's arms tightly, I clearly saw him flinch in pain. I knew it wasn't from my grasp, no it was the strong amount of electricity flowing from my hand into his body. Making quick work, I sink my fangs deep into his wrist as I drink my cousins blood. Once I finish I remove my fangs, and step back as I stare at my four cousins.

"You ok Drake?" Logan asks, I can hear the worry in his voice, as even his pale face shows the same emotion.

"Drake, you know you can't go this long without feeding off a human. It isn't as bad as when we do." Xavier spoke quietly.

"I know that." I muttered under my breath darkly. If I truly lost control of my powers around my cousins, I knew I could kill them all. My eyes back to their normal deep crimson, look to Blayze in worry. "I hurt you."
