Staring out of my bedroom window, I soon see the figure of Drake leaving my home. He stopped on the driveway, as his form turned around locking our gaze together once more. I saw what looked like sadness cross over his crimson eyes, sadness and pain. He looked weak after the sun burned him so badly, that with each step he took, it looked like he was pained.
My eyes were unable to leave him, as I watched him turn his back to me and he walked off slowly. This sent a sharp pain throughout my heart. My hand now resting on the window, I pleaded in my mind. 'Turn around Drake, turn around. Let me see your eyes once more.' So when my silent pleas when unanswered I sighed.
I just learned such a dark truth, that the one who has been leaving me the breathtaking roses is a Vampire. He is a monster that hunts down and drinks the blood of humans.
Stumbling backwards from the window, I tripped and collapsed onto the floor. My hand went to my neck on instinct to hide it from no one, "vampire." The word left my lips in a quiet whisper. "How the hell is that possible?" My hands soon move to grip at my hair. "I have to be dreaming, this can't possibly be real."
Though my eyes instantly land on the vase filled of the so called, non existent black roses. "Those are very much real." Whispering I stood up and walked to them. Instantly my finger traces the soft black petals. "So beautiful."
My thoughts drift off, to the man who gave me such breathtaking flowers.
Never have I considered how handsome other men were before. My eyes were always on girls. Yet even I couldn't deny how hot he truly was.
Those deep crimson eyes of his, literally knocked all of the air from my lungs, they left me breathless. His black hair, the way it fell across his very pale skin. I never met anyone really before with the whole 'goth vibe', but damn does that look suit him well. The black attire he wore, the leather on his skin. his ripped up tank top, the combat boots. Even the spike choker around his neck. Everything about that man, left my heart racing.
"No, Erin, stop that! Don't think that way!" Groaning, I collapsed backwards onto my bed, I was exhausted. There was no way I could sleep at all, after taking him down to the basement. And I hated how my mind kept travelling back to him.
"He is a stalker! A vampire stalker! A very hot, sexy...FUCK!" Rolling over onto my stomach, I hate myself for these thoughts. "HE IS A GUY!" My voice shouts out to myself. "I couldn't possibly be interested in him."
My eyes once more travel to gaze over the beautiful roses. Pushing myself up with my hands to kneel on my bed. I pick up one of the roses from the vase of water. "As black as his hair." The whisper was quiet, almost inaudible to myself as a smile crossed my lips.
...
Rolling over in my bed, so I was now laying on my left side. My eyes slowly open, a tiny sigh escapes my lips as I see the pillow next to me empty once more.
Three days have now passed, since Drake told me that he would disappear. Now every morning, I wake up to find no new roses next to me, and each morning this makes me depressed.
Yes I am very much creeped out that a guy broke into my home each and every night, to watch me sleep. Finding the roses scared me greatly, but now that they stopped appearing each morning?
Sitting up I shake my head, before standing up to get ready for the day. "I need to focus." I whispered as I went to the bathroom to have a shower. After I finished showering, I dressed for the day, with a much clearer mind now.
...
"Look! Someone, somewhere must know what happened to them!" I plead with the man before me.
