"Ugh." Groaning, my hand flies to my head as I hold it in pain. My head was pounding, as I rolled onto my side clutching my hands to my head trying to stop the pain. My fingers trace a sticky substance in my blonde hair, as I pull my hand in front of my face, only to see red blood on my fingers.

"Good, you're finally awake."

My eyes snap towards the voice, as I stare at a man standing on the other side of what appeared to be metal bars. He had dark brown hair, and reddish brown eyes as he stared at me. He looked old enough to be around the age of my deceased father. Pushing my body up with shaking hands, I look around myself to see I am in some kind of prison cell.

"W-where am I? You're a hunter aren't you?"Whispering, my mind goes back to the last thing I remember. I left Drake to, "Silvia!" I stare at the man behind the bars. "What the hell did you do with my sister!"

"Ah yes her." Watching the man closely, he pulled out a key and unlocked the cell I was in. Walking towards me, he crouched down and grasped my chin in his hand. "She is to give a message to that monster of yours. It's funny really. Out of the two of you, she should have been the one to catch the monsters eye. But you, a man did."

"Don't call him a monster!" I yell out, as I spit at him. "He isn't the monster here, you are!"

A loud smacking sound echoed around us, as my cheek stung in pain from the back of his hand colliding with it.

"Hmm, you are actually quite the looker for a man, now that I see you up closer." He pulled my face up closer to his. "If I had to choose between you and your sister." I watch his eyes gaze at my face intently for a moment. "I would have to pick your beautiful face."

"Fuck you!" Growling out, I weakly smack his hand away from my face.

"Where the fuck is the amulet?" He hissed in anger now. "We destroyed your home looking for it."

"You won't find it there." Whispering I glance to him as I smirk.

"So, you already gave it to that blood sucking monster."

"What do you plan to do with it, if you get it?" Whispering my question out in fear, I stare at the hunter before me.

He only merely laughed at my concern. "Once the final blood gem is ours, we can finally eliminate the world of those filthy blood suckers."

"What the hell did they ever do to you! Leave them alone!" Hearing the man speak of my mate and his family in such a tone, made my heart pound in anger.

The man grasped my chin, and pulled me so close to him that his hot breath was felt hitting my face. "When the sun sets over Havenbrook, he will race to your house. There he will find your sister instead of you. Then he will bring the amulet to me."

"He will never give it to you."

"The mate to a Vampire." He grinned madly at me. "You are the most important thing to him. He would do anything to get you back., and keep you alive. Even if that means turning on his own coven. He must already be burning with such rage as we speak."

"Gah!" Crying out in pain, the man punched me hard in the stomach. Throwing my body backwards into a stone wall, I collapse to the ground trying to catch my breath.

"When a vampire bonds with their mate, they can feel if their mate is in pain. When the thorn pricked your finger, I felt a pain in my heart."

My heart started to pound in my chest, as Drake's words hit my mind hard. My hand raised up and grasped at my shirt, as fear took over me. He would have felt all of this pain.
