My anger within me grows stronger, as I arrive at the bottom of the stairway. The ground and walls are carved out of stone as I walk along them. These passages were made back when Havenbrook was rebuilt five thousand years ago, after the first Vampire slaughter on the village. No one in town knows of their existence, none except for myself and my cousins, as well as the Hunters. Though this is my first time entering them, as they are known to be used only from the Hunters themselves.
My heart pains, as I push myself further. I will not stop until I have Erin safely in my arms once more. The lighting is dim and faded, from the lights that were added to the walls. Placing my hand against the stone wall, I drag it along the cold slightly damp surface.
Power surges throughout my body, as the dim lighting now begins to flicker around me.
"The lights!" I heard voices call out up ahead. "What is happening?"
"HE'S HERE!" Another voice yells out, alerting those around him.
The panic was heard ahead of me, as a grin appears on my lips. With my power flowing within me, begging for me to release it. I hear voices and sounds of rushed footsteps up ahead.
Walking into an open room of the passage, my eyes landed on the hunters before me. "Where is he?" Was all I growled out as I glared at them.
The idiots still haven't seemed to learn, as they raise up crosses and hold holy water in their hands.
"Have it your way then." Growling out lowly, I raise my hands to my chest. My eyes a flaming red, my hands fly towards the hunters, as lightning bolts fly from the palm of my hands. Watching as their bodies collapse to the ground, as their screams fill the area around me.
Nothing but rage fills me, as I grasp one Hunter in my hands. His body cries out in pain, as my powers electrify him to death.
My hand then grabs another Hunter, as I easily rip his heart out with my electrifying hand.
Hunters run and scream, as my powers strike them all down. Pieces of stone and debris, start to fall and crumble from the stone walls and ceiling, due to my intense amount of power I was unleashing.
"ERIN!" I yell out, needing him to hear my voice. To know I was here, that I was here to save him.
My heart raced, as I heard his voice echo along the passageway from up ahead. "DRAKE IT'S A TRAP! RUN!"
Feeling another sharp pain course through my heart, I growl deeply. "Whoever you are that is harming him. You're dead." Walking forward passed the bodies of hunters now on the ground, I rushed forward. "ERIN!"
More stone was crumbling to the ground around me, from my attacks. The passageway was filling up with dust, as I once again shot lightning at a group of hunters before me. Their screams and cries echoed around the stone walls, as I kept moving forward.
Walking further through the underground passages, I come to yet another large open space. And that was where my eyes landed on a man with brown hair, and reddish brown eyes. He smirked at me playfully, as he held my mate in his hands.
"Let him go." Growling out, sparks emit from my body all over.
"Give me the amulet Monster."
"Like I would be stupid enough to bring it here with me." Scoffing I glare at the hunter who dares hold my mate captive.
"Do you think this is some joke!" The hunter yelled as his hold on Erin's body tightened. "Call out to him, let him hear your voice beautiful." He whispered in Erin's ear. Watching him do such an act made my blood boil in rage.
