"No one, and I mean no one touches you but me." His grip on my body tightened as my heart pounded in my chest, while my vampire carried me protectively. "You belong to me Erin. And I will kill each one of them that touched you."

Walking us out of the cell, my arms weakly wrap around Drake's neck as hugging him. Trembling in his arms, fresh tears fall from my eyes as I push my face into the crook of his neck.

"No one will ever lay another finger on you like that Erin." Drakes growls out in pure anger. He is truly pissed off, and if this was under different circumstances I would be turned on by his behavior. Fire burned in his breathtaking crimson eyes, as he kept a tight grip on my body. "I will get you out of here."

"I'm so cold." Shivering in his arms, I try to focus on the warmth of Drake's body.

"I know." Shifting me in his arms, he held me closer to his chest. "Just hold on a little longer my love."

As Drake carried me, he paused in his place while a low threatening growl escaped his throat. Quickly he readjusted my body, so now he only held me up in one of his arms. Turning my gaze, I watched as Hunters rushed forward and stood before us now. Tightening my arms around Drake, fear caused my heart to race.

"We can't just let you leave." The men held up weapons but Drake only scoffed at their attempts.

"You truly think you can stop me?"

"You are powerless now." One of the hunters laughed out, thinking they won this fight already.

"Then how the hell did I get us out of the cell?" Drake let out a low deep laugh. Glancing at the hunters, I watched as fear took over each of their expressions.

Feeling Drake tighten his one arm around me, he raised his free hand before him. Watching my vampire, he allowed bright jolts of lightning to escape his hand, as it hit the Hunters. Some dropped to the ground, others screamed out in excruciating pain.

Flinching, I hid my face against Drake's neck. "Did I harm you?" His voice asked in concern, as he most likely felt my flinch.

"No." Whispering out the truth, Drake's powers didn't harm me. "I just want to get out of here."

"And we will." Whispering deeply to me, more Hunters rushed before us. "After I kill them all, then I will take you home." Growling deeply, Drake sent more lightning bolts towards the hunters. Shivering in his arms, how I hated listening to their screams like that. "Erin, just close your eyes."

Doing as Drake said, I squeeze my eyes shut. Trying to force myself to block out the screams around us, and to only think of my mate. Now and then as Drake held me, his power jolted and shocked my body making me wince. Remaining silent in his arm, I could tell trying to transfer power to just one arm like he was, was causing Drake to lose strength.

"Drake, just put me down." Whispering to him, I knew he had to use his full power to get u out of here.

"Never."

"Please Drake, you are losing strength this way, put me down. Use your full power to save us." His deep crimson gaze flickered to meet my own. "I will stay behind you."

Hearing footsteps echoing in the distance of the passageways. Drake reluctantly nodded and set me down against the wall behind him. Removing his leather jacket, that now had rips and cuts from the hunters in it. He draped it around my shoulders.

"Erin, do not move from this spot. I may not be able to control my powers, stay exactly where I know you are." Giving me a quick kiss, he stood up straight just as hunters ran into the area we were.
