Holding me tightly in his arms, Drake leaned in kissing my lips passionately. In this one kiss I felt it all. His love, his fear of losing me, his happiness I was safe.
"Well then." Breaking the kiss, we both looked towards the doorway of the room we were in. "We did come to save you both, but it doesn't look like you need us at all." Logan spoke gently, as he and his cousins eyed us.
Seeing his cousins Drake stood up straighter, as he made sure to keep a tight grip around my body.
"You were quite easy to find in these passages." Hayden let slip a chuckle.
"Yeah, just follow the trail of dead hunters." Blayze smirked.
"Well there was that." Logan nodded his head. "Though your powers lit up the entire passageways. We could feel it from so far away." Logan's icy blue eyes landed on me, as he studied my face. "It is shocking though, no one has been able to stop Drake's power at that strength before. Well none besides Hayden that is."
A tiny laugh escaped from behind the three older vampires. Well it sounded more like a giggle in a way. "Yes well, Erin has a power of his own you know." Xavier popped his head out from behind his older brother. "He has a way of controlling our dear cousin here."
Blayze let out an exasperated groan. "Seriously Xavier, if you start spouting out shit like love is the most powerful, I will disown you." He sent his little brother a death glare, only to make Xavier smile more.
"Just you wait Blayze, the day you meet your mate, you will have a different view on that matter."
"Never going to happen!"
"Yes it will!"
"No it wont!"
"Yes!"
"NO!"
The two siblings bickered as the others rolled their eyes.
"Enough you two, how about we get the hell out of here?" Hayden mumbled, his one green eye flashing back towards Drake and myself.
It was only then did I glance down at myself, as my face burned in a deep blush. Here I was standing before his four cousins, only in my boxers. Drake must have also just realized this, as he pulled my body behind his in an instant while glaring at his cousins to look away. Which they did in a manner of seconds.
Eyeing my clothes on the ground I walk over to them and pick up the shirt. It was beyond the ability to wear. My eyes flickered to the cut up jeans that also were drenched in blood.
"Drake, I can't wear these." More so it was the fact another man ripped them off of me, I didn't want to get anywhere near them.
"Erin." My head spun around as Xavier stepped forward. His eyes looking off, as he must have heard of my thoughts. "Wear this for now." My green eyes landed on the sweater he held out to me, the one he wore only moments before.
"Thank you Xavier." Smiling, I pulled it on, and I was thankful it covered up to my thighs, leaving just my legs bare now. Going to my shoes, I however pulled them on, only to wince in pain a bit from the scraps on the bottom of my feet.
"Erin." Hearing Drake's deep voice, my eyes landed on his hand he held out to me.
Smiling at him, I was about to place my hand in his. Only to remember why I ran to this room to begin with. Rushing over to the small wooden box, I grasp it tightly in my hands and hug it to my chest.
"The ancient dagger?" He asked curiously, eyeing the box with his crimson gaze.
Nodding silently, I hurry to his side where he wraps an arm around my form. "Drake, can we go home now?" About to walk off, I almost dropped the box I held as I gasped loudly. "Silvia! Oh god, the hunters had her!"
