Now that Laura knew I didn't bother keeping my coughs in and if I felt sick I went straight for the toilet, no excuses. Even though it made her more worried, which I hated, I at least got the help I needed before getting this checked out. I was scared of it being the worst, for example cancer or somekind of stomach thing.

Luckily for me Laura was attending medical school and she knew the not as bad possibilities as well, which helped me be a little less worried. She also knew how to help, not 100% of course, but enough to get me through it. She also moved her flight for a day, so she could go with me and help me understand what was going on.

"Do you need help walking or will you be okay?" she asked before we left for the hospital.

"I think I can walk" I said, unsure in my own answer. I've felt extremely weak recently. Probably because I keep losing a lot of blood. Laura nodded and helped me up, giving me minimal support, that being just enough to ease it slightly. I made only a few steps forward befor my legs gave in and I almost crashed to the ground. Laura caught me and held me up off the floor. She helped me back up and sat me down and went to grab a pair of crutches we've had since I broke my leg about a year ago. She handed them to me and stayed by my side for support. Slowly but surely we got to the car.

The drive to the hospital was shorter than I thought, probably because I felt nervous about the situation. Laura kept reassuring me that I'll be fine but that only helped so much. I'd only be sure when I'd know they've checked every possibility.

As soon as we entered the hospital Laura got a couple of nurses to help me get to where I needed to be. We were slightly early so we sat in the waiting room for a while before finnaly being called in for my appointment. Laura came in with me, luckily there was no problem with that at all.

"So what seemes to be the problem?" the doctor I knew as Dr. Klaus asked as we sat down. I glanced at Laura as if she was my mom, before realizing I'm an adult and have been doing this for a while.

"I've been coughing up blood recently" I explained shortly, not really knowing what else I should add anyway. Klaus wrote this down and continued with more questions about it such as how long has this been happening for and if it's more like throing up or more like I just cough and there's blood. It didn't take long for him to know what they should check and what there was no point for.
