"You could move here" I said, realizing how absurd it sounded considering we've been dating for a day. To be fair, we have been best friends for a little under half a year but still.

She thought for a second before leaning her head to the side.

"It's really not the worst idea" she trailed off. My eyes widened.

"Really?" I asked, suddenly not feeling nearly as tired as I was before. She chuckled and nodded.

"I totally could as well, I've finished school and I can carry on here if I want to and I'm 18 so why not?" she replied with a wide smile. My smile widened as I got extremely excited.

I placed my hands gently on her cheeks and pulled her in for a kiss. We both smiled into it before moving away. I just about got lost in her eyes when they sparkled with happiness.

We got out of the car and went inside without carrying the stuff inside, agreeing to just go to sleep and deal with it tomorrow.

As soon as we got comfortable, Laura laying on my chest, my eyes closed and I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up alone. While looking around, I sat up and stretched. Laura wasn't in the room, which lead me to go downstairs to try and find her.

I smiled when I found her sitting at the counter with a glass of water in her hand. She was invested in her phone because of which she didn't see me approach.

"Hey baby" I whispered while bringing my lips to the back of her neck. She flinched a little before giggling and replying with a simple "Morning"

I looked up at her phone seeing a video of a teenage boy, I wouldn't give more than 17 years, playing what I think was minecraft.

"Who's that?" I asked curiously while sitting down next to her.

"Tommy, he's live" she smiled, keeping her eyes on the livestream.

"Cool" I smiled at her happiness and got up to see what we can have for breakfast.

"Do you wanna have pancakes or eggs for breakfast?" I asked, turning to her for a second before going back to inspecting the fridge.

"I'm not hungry" she said, laughing after a second of silence. I assumed it was at the livestream.

"You have to have breakfast though, how are you gonna lay in bed for the rest of the day if you have an empty stomach?" I laughed gaining a laugh from her.

"I only woke up twenty minutes ago, give my stomach a second to realize it's empty"

I nodded with a smile and started making pancakes.
