Saying that I'm Maihuas girlfriend made me feel so warm inside I believed myself for a second. As much as I did want that to be true I knew I was far from ready to date again. Besides I wanted to experience being single. I was planning on going to parties, drinking, meeting new people mabye even have a few hookups. But right now I'm visiting Maihua so none of that until I get back home. All though that's not gonna be the easiest thing there either considering I live with my family.

"I just remembered there's a birthday party tomorrow that I was invited to. I guess I won't go to this one" Maihua said out of nowhere.

"No no you aren't staying home because of me. You go, I'll be fine alone plus your sister's gonna be home right?"

"Yeah I guess you're right" she smiled and carried on with drinking her coffee.

"What do you wanna do today?" Maihua asked me as we pulled in to their driveway.

"I don't know we could go shopping if you wanna"

"Sounds like a plan" she smiled and we both got out of the car. She unlocked the front door and yelled for Gaonha to see if she's home. No response meaning she probably went out. We went straight to Maihuas room and put on some different clothes since the ones we had on were way to warm. We grabbed our stuff and left again.

As we pulled up to the mall we noticed how empty it was. There were very few cars and the parking lot seemed so boring and empty. We shrugged it off and went inside. Everything seemed completely normal so we did our shopping and got some takeout. We took it back home so all three of us could eat together.

I've started getting a lot closer with Gaonha even though it wasn't exactly easy. Somehow I started liking her and we started becoming pretty good friends. My smiles started becoming genuine and the memories of the convention kinda just faded. I was really happy to see myself move on.

After what felt like only 30 minutes but was actually a few hours, it was already getting dark outside so we moved over to the living room and had a Twilight movie marathon. I was the only one awake when the last movie ended. Thank god that way they didn't see me cry like a baby. I just really like the ending.
