Sorry for the delay, I've been working on a few side projects and forgot I'm supposed to update this book. This chapter it a little longer tho.

I was more than happy to hear that Laura will be at vidcon too. I would be able to meet some of my favorite youtubers and see her. I see that as an absolute win.
I can't wait to hang out with her again. Thinking of this really brings me to playlist, the one we met at. Those whole few days were some of the best I've ever had. We clicked so fast and at the time I even thought we might end up having something, all though nothing ever actually happened.
I'm not even sure if I want to have a relationship with her anymore. Well I do but there are doubts as you would expect. We've had an amazing friendship and I'm afraid a relationship could ruin that. Hopefully not though.
Gaonha knocked on my door(take a shot for everytime I've written that in this book). She opened the door before I invited her in.
"You know you're supposed to wait for the person to tell you to come in first right?" I said jokingly and patted the spot beside me.
"Yeah I know" she chuckled. "Mom and dad invited us to dinner" she explained now less excited.
"Ah do we have to?" I ask, not very fond of seeing my slightly homophobic parents.
"It was moms birthday, of course we have to" she explained, knowing she won't be able to talk about herself very openly either. Unlike me, she never came out. We moved onto our own before she even knew she was bisexual.
"Ugh fine. But I'm only staying for as long as I need to" I mumbled through my teeth. Suddenly my day felt much worse. Last thing I needed was it being tonight.
"Oh by the way. It's tonight" she said as she started closing the door.
Of course it is.
"Alright" I groaned. She left my room letting me pity my own ass. Of course these two people were still my parents but that didn't mean I wanted to get dinner with them. That would probably last so damn long as well.
Time skip to dinner: me and Gaonha were waiting at the restaurant for them to arrive. They were a few minutes late which wasn't surprising at all. They were never exactly on time, usually because they weren't the best at assuming how long it would take them to get from A to B.
I sighed and took my phone out. Gaonha immediately gave me a glare but seemed to understand as she didn't actually bug me. A second later the familiar Tesla, yes Tesla, drove up. My parents got out of the car. The were both wearing fancy clothes, my mom wore a long, sparkly, black dress pared with high heels the same color and my dad was wearing a matching suit. I looked down at my own clothes, noticing how much less fancy my own suit was. I even glanced at Gaonhas who wasn't wearing nothing near moms dress.
Dinner went by fast, mostly it was my parents ignoring the fact that I'm gay and even asking me about boys. Gaonha stayed quiet most of the time, despite her outgoing nature.
Long story short: I hated every second of it and was beyond glad when it ended.
