Our last kiss stayed on my mind all the way until we landed. I still felt her lips on mine as if it had just happened. Our mom picked us up and when she noticed how wide my smile was, she had to know what happened. I said I made a new best friend, not wanting her to roll her eyes at me for liking a girl. She hasn't fully accepted the fact that I will definitely marry a girl. Of course Gaonha didn't say anything, for once. I did have the whole cheating thing above her and I was planning on telling our mom if I had to.

We arrived home and I called Laura. We stayed on facetime for hours laughing, filming tik toks and gossiping about people. Due to time zones we had to go to bed at different times which was a little annoying but I knew we'd get through it.

"I've been thinking of moving states when I turn 18" she explained while eating a whole bucket of greek yoghurt.

"Why?" I asked munching on my own food.

"I don't like Texas as much as I used to. All of the toxic people live around me and I want to get away"

"Yeah that's fair. Have you thought of where you'd move?"

"California or something around there. Probably somewhere warm. Somewhere I have a beach near to home" her eyes shined as she probably imagined her dream house. I subconsciously thought about my future too. And I couldn't help but include her in it.

"If you want to you should. I'm fully rooting for you" I smiled amd she smiled back putting her yoghurt down.

Hours later we were still talking. It was getting pretty late for her and slowly for me as well. We ended the call, agreeing on a time for tomorrow.

I got ready for bed while blasting my favorite playlist. That's one of the pros of only living with your sister. As long as she doesn't care you can basically do whatever you want in the house.

I finnaly got under my warm covers and closed my eyes hoping sleep consumes me fast so I don't go into overthinking mode.
