The Tengen Gate

Allison's POV

The gap sensor went off and we morphed and ran out. "There's no time to lose!" Jayden yelled.

"Right behind you!" I yelled.

We got to the sight and saw a bunch of giant moogers rampaging. "Four, five, six, seven! At once?!" Antonio yelled.

"Look! Down there!" Emily yelled.

"The Sanzu river is seeping through." Mia said.

"Let's go!" Jayden yelled. We megamorphed and fought them off easily.

"I don't know what to do. We fought so hard, but the Sanzu is still seeping into the world." Mia said.

"I can't believe this is happening." I said.

"What else can we do? We've beaten the nighlok every time." Emily said.

"We can't think about winning or losing." Jayden said. "We have to believe in ourselves and keep fighting."

"Jayden's right." Kevin agreed. "We can't give up no matter what."

"I'm glad to hear that." Ji said as he walked into the room. "I may have found something that could help us." He placed a book in front of Jayden.

"The black box?" Jayden asked. "Ji, we can't."

"What is it?" Mia questioned.

"A magical talisman, created by the very first red ranger." Ji explained. "It is said that it can unite the symbol powers of all rangers into one."

"Okay, cool. So let me use my symbol power to fire it up." I said.

"It's not as simple as that." Jayden said. "The red ranger never finished the talisman."

"Many have tried, but none have the skill and power to complete it."

"What about Antonio and Allison. She's got power and he has great programming skills." Emily suggested.

"Yeah, I mean, he programmed the clawzord like it was a coffeemaker." I agreed. "And I have plenty of symbol power to power it up."

"Yes, but you need it all in one." Ji corrected.

"You know how much it drains us to use symbol power, Allison?" Kevin said.

"Kevin's right. Trying to transfer even a few iff our symbol powers into the box could destroy Antonio. I can't ask him to do this." Jayden said.

"Then don't. I'll learn how to program from Antonio and then use my symbol power to finish the black box. I can do this." I said.

"No. You need to stay with the team. And I'm not letting you hurt yourself again, Ally."

"You don't dictate what I choose to do, Jayden."

"Guys, stop. Jayden, none of us want to see Antonio or Allison get hurt, but—" Em started.

"We're talking about saving the human race." Mia said.

"If they're willing, give them a shot."

"Okay." Jayden agreed hesitantly.

"First, you must retrieve the black box. For generations, it has been protected by the guardians of the Tengen Gate. So, get going." We all walked out and traveled to the Tengen Gate.

As we approached the Tengen Gate I marveled at it. "This is the Tengen Gate. It's amazing." I said.
