We rushed to where the gap sensor went off. We didn't see a nighlok. "The gap sensor went off right here." Mia said.

"Yeah, but where is the nighlok?" Kevin asked.

"Stay sharp. He must be close by." Jayden ordered. "Huh?" The building next to us exploded and shattered glass everywhere. We were blasted back with the rubble.

"Zip, zip, zip." The nighlok said.

"He just destroyed that building." Mia said.

"We have to stop this." Em agreed.

"Zip, zip, zip."

"Time for you to zip it, nighlok." Jayden said.

"Samurai rangers, I'm like a force of nature— a twister and a shark bite wrapped in one, and ready for fun."

"Let's go." We went to charge, but Antonio showed up.

"Hey, wait for me."

"You're late."

"Sorry, but this'll be worth the weight. Hey, Shark-jaw, get ready for a barracuda fight." Antonio charged the nighlok, but he couldn't stand his ground. The girls used their spin swords, air way and primate cyclone. It knocked him back, but he used his tornado power to hurt us. I got up quickly as he came back around.

"Nighlok!" I yelled. I hit him, but he cut my sword in half and sent me back to the team.

"Allison!" Jayden yelled.

"You okay?" Em asked. I looked at my sword that was smoking and cut in half.

"Seriously?" I asked.

"I can't beat that. I'm just too good for you." The nighlok spat.

"Oh, man. We just can't get close enough." Antonio said.

"Sharks don't stop swimming and I don't stop spinning."

"It's time for me to put my own spin on things."

"Antonio, no! He's too quick!" Jay screamed.

"You won't get past me." Antonio put up a fight for a good five seconds before being knocked over. The nighlok dried out and went back to the netherworld. We demorphed and looked at the gap.

We got ice cream after the fight. Well, everyone except Kevin did. Antonio was off somewhere else. Probably fishing. "Kev, we beat the nighlok. This is a celebration." I said.

"I am celebrating, Allison."

"Why didn't you get ice cream like the rest of us?"

"Allison, stop picking on him." Em said.

"But he's eating veggies!" I said referring to Kevin's carrot.

"I've been feeling a little sluggish lately, Allison, so it's back to a strict samurai diet."

"But wouldn't you rather have mint chip?" I asked waving my ice cream in his face.

"No." Suddenly I heard a loud crash right behind me Kevin fell backward from fright and I turned to see a car, crashed front first into the ground. The alarm was blaring.

"Up there!" Mia screamed pointing at the overpass.

"Let's go." Jayden said as we rushed to the area. When we got up there we saw these things I had never seen before shooting at construction workers. They looked like robots, but kind of unfinished. They made electronic noises unlike the moogers.

"Nighlok with lasers?" Em asked.

"Those steam punks aren't nighlok." I said.

"They're machines. That explains the sound." Kevin said.
