"Hey, Antonio. Didn't know you were up this early." I said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Oh, hey, Allison." He said glumly.

"Why so blue?"

"No reason. Just tired."

"Well you won't be so tired after you try some of my world famous pancakes."

"You cook?" His eyes widened at my statement. "Tell me you're not like Mia."

"I hope not, but yeah I do. I don't really like to tell anyone. I also told Mia I don't cook because I don't want to hurt her feelings when my food tastes better so please don't say anything."

"You're secret is safe with me." I nodded and started preparing the batter. "So how did y learn to make these?"

"My grandma taught me when I lived with her. She used to always tell me the fastest way to a man's heart was through his stomach. I was seeing Jayden secretly at the time so I used to bring him these. She wasn't wrong."

"That she isn't. So, you knew Jayden as a kid too?"

"Yeah. We actually dated since we were 13, but no one could know or we'd lose our ranger positions. When Mentor found out, though he let us off with a warning. Luckiest moment of my life."

"Wow. Didn't know Jayden was such a rebel." He said sarcastically. I sprayed the pan and began to pour the batter.

"Well, he gave you a zord, so. I'd say he was pretty rebellious. Risking the lives of others was always something Jayden wouldn't compromise. I guess I should've listened at first when he wanted to date me publicly. I thought it would jeopardize the mission, but like always—"

"Jayden was right." Antonio finished.

"Yeah. He was. Hey, I'm sorry for being so harsh when you first got here. I'm just not used to new people, you know?"

"It's totally fine, Al. I get it. I'm just glad you respected my attempts."

"Here you go." I placed two pancakes on a plate and drizzled them with syrup. "Two pancakes for one gold ranger."

"Thank you." He took a bite and his face lit up. "These are incredible! Can you please cook instead of Mia."

"Thank you, but no. Too much pressure." He devoured them and held his plate out for more. "Dude, seriously?"

"Yes, please."

"Wow." I giggled at his behavior, but I was glad to actually be friends with him.

Moogers were attacking civilians in the town square. We started to fight them and Jayden called Antonio. Jayden took them out with his spin sword, but more kept coming. "More of them?" Kevin asked.

"It's no big deal. They're just moogers." I said.

"Then let's stop talking and start fighting." Jay ordered. Antonio came up next to me, but he hadn't morphed yet. We all looked at him. He mumbled and was paler than paper. He shook and looked like he was going to vomit. He screamed when his blade appeared in his hand. He dropped it so fast and curled up on the ground.

"Antonio, what's wrong?" Mia asked.

"I can't do it!" Antonio screamed.

"Antonio!" Jayden yelled with concern.
