I stood in the middle of all the rangers, prepared to fight them. All I could think about were Deker's words.

Have you become that weak, red ranger?

Was he right? Had I become weak? I'll prove him wrong. Suddenly Mia came in swinging. I started to fight them all, dodging all their strikes. I was extremely aggressive for some reason and yet I couldn't stop myself. I pointed my practice sword at Allison's face and she glared at me. I sensed Kev and Em behind me. "Come at me."

They came charging, but I dodged them and took them down along with Mia. Allison was the only one left standing. We charged at each other with a lot of pent up aggression. We continued to spar for a solid minute until I finally took her down with a hard blow to the chest. I watched as she fell against the concrete, hearing her head smack in the process.

My face immediately fell as Emily and Kevin rushed toward her. Mia stayed back a little as well as Mentor. "Allison. Are you okay?" I asked with concern lacing my voice. I tried to get closer, but the team shot me daggers. I heard Allison's quiet sobs from the ground as Kevin and Emily helped her up.

It was obvious she was in a tremendous amount of pain. She gripped her back and her head and that's when I knew I fucked up hard. "What is wrong with you?! It's just practice, Jayden!" Allison screamed. I could see and hear the pain in her voice and face as she yelled at me.

"I'm sorry. Practice is over. Allison, please."

"Stop, Jayden. Haven't you done enough damage in the last 24 hours without breaking Allison?" Mia said as the team continued to walk Allison inside.

"But I just—"

"Stay away from me." She said painfully craning her neck towards me. "If this is your way of winning me back, it's a pretty shitty way." Antonio suddenly showed up in the doorway and looked around.

"Hey, guys!" He said with a cheery disposition. "Did I miss something?"

"Join us inside." Mia said through gritted teeth. I turned back to Ji and sighed heavily. I started to talk and walk over to him.

"Mentor, I didn't mean to hit them so hard. What's wrong with me?"

"Come on. Let's go for a ride. But get changed first." I walked back inside to go and get changed when I saw Allison in the medical room. Everyone was around her as she sat up in the bed. It didn't seem like she had a concussion, but she was definitely in pain. Before they put her shirt back on I got a glimpse of the bandages wrapped around her torso. I could see her flinch every time she moved and she grabbed her head every once in a while.

I couldn't believe I was capable of hurting Allison. I felt bad enough, but the withering stares from the team and the fact that they wouldn't even let me get close to her just proves how bad I screwed up this time. Allison glanced at me from the corner of her eye before rolling her eyes and attempting to make herself comfortable. All I could do was walk away and get ready to leave with Ji.

Ji and I walked up to a giant tree at Mentor's favorite spot and I looked up at it. Expecting it to solve my problems, but of course, it didn't. "Were you trying to prove something?"

"I don't know." I replied.

"It's Deker, isn't it? And your breakup with Allison?"

"He says I'm weaker. And without Allison, I think he's right. I love her, Ji. More than anything. And now she's gone. Have I become weaker?"

"You haven't, but Allison cannot fix your mistakes anymore. You have to. The team has only made you stronger." I looked down and then back at Mentor.
