Kevin's Choice

We all laid our zord disks out on the table except for the bullzord which I held in my hand. I stood next to Jayden as he explained our new plan. "The bull disk has the power to combine all of the zords into a samurai gigazord." Jayden said as I held up the disk.

"Does that include Allison's polar bear zord?

"No. Since the polar bear zord does not technically belong to the Shiba family, it is not able to combine with the other zords." I explained.

"It's a risky task. If not done right, all of the zords could be obliterated. But I'm sure Antonio and Allison can master it." He said putting a hand ok Antonio's shoulder as I handed him the bull disk. He took it, but shook his head.

"Woah. Thanks for the vote of confidence, but Kevin is the one to go when it comes to megazord combinations." Antonio argued.

"Actually he's right." I agreed.

"Where is Kevin?" Em asked. A good point. No one had seen him since this morning. And we had a day off today.

Kevin had been out so the rest of the team and I ran to the scene. Jayden hit the nighlok in a surprise attack. We saw Kevin, but he wasn't morphed. "Kev, morph already!" I yelled.

"I wish I could, but the nighlok ate my samuraizer." Kev replied. Ate his samuraizer?

"Ate it?" Mia asked.

"Oh, come on. You're kidding." Antonio said.

"Don't worry. We'll stop him. Just stay back." Jay said.

"You know it's rude to interrupt someone when they're eating." The nighlok said. He reached his arms toward us and we fought them off for a while, but he eventually hit everyone except for Jayden and I. We went up to him and slashed him because our attacks were faster. We knocked him down, but didn't kill him. "Forget this! I'll just eat somewhere else." Then he disappeared through the gap.

"That was quick." I said.

"But what about Kevin's samuraizer?" Mia asked. We all demorphed and stared at the gap.

"He'll be back when he gets hungry." Antonio said. "Which, by the look of it, shouldn't be that long."

"Ugh." I groaned.

"But I lost my samuraizer." We heard Kev say from behind us. Mia was next to him, trying to comfort him. We all jogged over to them.

"Don't sweat it, man. We'll get it back." Antonio said.

We all sat around the table in the common room, trying to come up with ways of getting Kev's samuraizer back. We heard the door open and looked to see Kevin walking in. He looked so upset. "Kevin." Em said walking over to him.

"Hey, where've you been?" I asked also walking over to him. "We're all thinking of ways to get your samuraizer back."

"Oh, right. Thanks." Kevin said, still upset. He walked away without even looking at us.

"It's more than the samuraizer." Mia said. "I think something happened.

"You're right." Ji said, walking in, holding a paper. "I saw this in town today." He placed the paper out on the desk. "Kevin's old swim team is in town for the regional finals."

"Listen, Kevin can't fight without his samuraizer." Jay said. "He needs time to figure things out."

"Then we'll give it to him. And find his samuraizer in the process." I said. "But first, I'm gonna go talk to him."
