"We have to stop them." I said standing up and looking at Ji.

"You can't stop this. I've already tried."

"Well I'm going to." Antonio said attempting to stand. He groaned loudly before plopping back down.

"No, you need to stay and rest." Em argued.

"We'll take care of it." Mia stated. "Come on, guys." The three of us began to run out, but I noticed Kevin was staying behind.

"Kevin! Come on, let's go!" I yelled.

"I'm gonna stay with Lauren. We need to divide and conquer in case there's another nighlok attack. I hate to split up the team, but this way, Lauren can continue mastering the sealing power while you help Jayden." Kevin explained.

"We understand." Mia said.

"Allison, you sure you don't want to stay behind to help Lauren?" Kev asked.

"Let her go. She needs to be with my brother." Lauren said.

"Thanks. Don't worry. He'll be back here in no time. I'll make sure of that." Then we ran off to find him.

•••

It was already dark and we couldn't find Jayden. We ran around the forest looking for him until suddenly we spotted a ring of fire. "Over there!" I yelled.

"Jayden!" Mia yelled.

"Guys, what're you doing here?" Jayden asked from inside the ring. We blocked our faces as we approached the flames, hoping not to be burned.

"Please, stop! You two have fought enough!"

"Jayden you don't have to do this, please! This is a mistake!" I yelled. "I love you! Please just come back! Stop, please!"

"Allison, go!"

"Jayden!"

"Let's finish this." Deker said.

"No!" Emily screamed. "Neither of you have to do this!" We could only hear Deker mumbling over the sound of the flames crackling. We watched as Deker failed to lift his sword. We saw him looking down at his side at nothing, but we still couldn't hear it.

I suddenly saw Kev out of the corner of my eye. "Allison!" He yelled. I ran to him and he handed me my white samuraizer. "You left this."

"Thanks. Let's go help Jayden. Symbol power, snow storm!" Snow began to fall over the flames, but it wasn't working quick enough. Kev and I ran behind where Deker stood.

Jayden stood up and began to walk away, but Deker went to strike. "Jayden! Look out!" Em screamed. She tried to run to him impulsively, but Mia held her back. Kev made a gap in the flames with his water power and I swung my sword, causing a blow to Deker. He fell in defeat, face first into the Earth. Jayden fell from the momentum of moving back.

"Ally. Kevin." Jayden said spotting us. I ran through the gap and around Deker's body. I kneeled down beside Jayden who was covered in soot and tattered clothes.

"Baby, are you okay?" I asked pushing the hair from his eyes and attempting to wipe dirt off his cheeks. He kissed me deeply for a good 5 seconds before pulling away.

"Sweetheart, I'm fine. Okay? I'm fine."

"Don't ever do that again." I hugged him so tight I thought he'd pop. The snow continued to fall and extinguish the flames. He reciprocated my tight hug and whispered.

"Don't worry, Ally. It's over. He's not coming back." We watched as Deker's body began to dissolve into thin air.

"At last I'm free." Deker whispered before completely disappearing.

"His curse has finally been lifted." We all stared at where Deker's body had been.

•••

It turned morning and we all sat around. Jayden finally stood up and faced us all. "Thank you for helping me last night. I'm sorry I couldn't share my secret. Lauren and the plan had to be protected. It's time for me to go." I rolled my eyes and scoffed at Jayden's stupidity.

"Jayden, stop. You know you're still our leader." Kevin said.

"We don't care that you kept your secret from us." Mia added. "When we followed you it was real."

"I'm not who you thought I was." At that point I lost it. I stood up really fast and looked ran up to him, forcing him to look at me.

"Hey. Look at me. What about all the battles and all the good days and all the memories? You're telling me, we didn't know the man that we put all our faith in? We put our lives in your hands... and you put yours in ours. You're telling me that the man I fell in love with and the man I promised to love no matter what isn't you? You're telling me that everything the two of us have been through isn't real? I don't love the red ranger. I love you, Jayden. It never mattered to me what your title was or where you came from. I loved you because you were a good, hard working man who knew what he wanted. You broke down my walls and taught me how to be vulnerable. You showed me what it's like to be loved completely and thoroughly. So you kept one secret. Big fucking deal. That secret doesn't define you. What you've done for all of us defines you. You showed me how to love, you showed Kevin how to open up and be himself, you helped Emily be tougher. Jayden, you inspire us, you've changed us in more ways than one. If you're saying that everything you've done isn't real just because you kept one secret, then say it to my face. To all our faces. Tell me you don't love me. Tell me I'm delusional. Or tell me all of this isn't just a fantasy."

He looked me square in the eyes and cupped my cheek. His thumb brushed away the stray tear that ran down my cheek. He had a tear fall down his face too. He kissed me passionately and long, holding me close. When we pulled away he rested his forehead against mine, still letting tears fall. My started to fall quickly as well. "I love you, Allison. I'm so sorry."

"I love you too, Jayden. Don't you ever, ever, leave me again."

"I won't. I promise."

•••

"Got it." Kevin said, hanging up his samuraizer. "Moogers down by the marina. Lauren and Antonio are already on their way. Jayden, please join us." There was a long pause and for a second I thought he'd say "no."

"Go on. I need a minute, but I promise I'll meet you there."

"You better." I replied. I started to run off, but stopped and ran back. I gave Jayden a peck on the lips before speaking again. "I love you." I ran back to the team and we morphed while running towards the marina.

•••

We made it down to the marina and fought moogers on the ground while Antonio and Lauren fought the giant ones. I felt a wave crash over me and a cloud form in the sky. It felt like a cloud of pure misery. Which could only mean one thing: Master Xandred was coming.

Mia was already down by the shore with Dayu, but Kev, Em, and I ran to the coastline. We watched as Master Xandred arose once again. "Oh, no!" Mia yelled.

"I-it's him." Kevin stuttered.

"You gotta be kidding me." I muttered.

"I thought he was gone." Em added.

"Samurai rangers! Give up! You have no hope. Dayu, thanks to you, I'm back." Xandred stated.

"I have repaid my debts." Dayu responded.

"Now, the human's world shall fall to me."

This one was quite short compared to the ones I usually write, but hey two in a day isn't bad at all. So glad you guys are enjoying the story. I can't believe it's almost over. Anyway, thanks again!
