I'm using my own nighlok in this chapter so you won't know this one.

"Hello, baby." Jayden said as he walked in the kitchen.

"Hi, babe." He sat down next to me as we watched Mia cook.

"It's so great that you guys don't have to hide your relationship anymore." Emily said happily. "I mean you guys can finally be together at last without shame."

"Yeah it is pretty great." I said with a smile.

"So what's Mia cooking?" Jayden whispered to me. I just shrugged my shoulders because honestly who knows what Mia is actually cooking?

"Breakfast is served." We watched Mia put her PB&J omelet in front of us. I noticed all the eggshells in it, but remembered my promise to try it.

"Looks great, Mia." I lied. We each took some of the omelet before taking a bite. It tasted like sewage, but we all smiled politely. We each scraped some into our napkins while Mia was turned around. Then, Kevin walked in from his morning run.

"Morning, everyone!"

"What's up, Kev?" I asked.

"Nothing much, just sweating like a good samurai should." I smelled his sweat from where I was sitting.

"Yeah, a good samurai also showers, please and thank you."

"Very funny." He said sarcastically.

"Thank you." I laughed before returning to death, also known as food. Then, Ji, my savior, came in to bring us to the common room.

We all sat around as the three new disks were placed in front of Jayden. "Now that we've recovered three of the lost disks, we have a new power at our disposal." Ji explained.

"Beetle. Swordfish. Tiger. Together, these three disks allow us to form the samurai battlewing." Jayden continued. Ji showed us a picture of the battlewing in a book.

"Wow. That looks like one powerful bird." I said.

"Yes, thanks to these disks. So each one has to go to the person we think is truly ready to help pilot the battlewing." Ji finished.

"I'll keep the tigerzord." Jayden said.

"The swordfish goes to Kevin who caught it and therefore has a connection with it. We've decided that the beetle..."

"Should go to Allison. You're symbol power is the greatest that's ever been and therefore we know you are already ready to use the disk."

"Thank you. I won't let you down."

"I know you won't."

I walked into the kitchen where everyone was taking the sushi that we bought from the market yesterday. I gave Jayden a peck on the cheek before getting food. "You missed." Jayden said.

"What?"

"You missed." Then he kissed me on the lips longer than I anticipated.

"Guys, not here. We're eating." Kevin said.

"Stop it, Kevin." Mia defended us. "They're happy, leave them alone."

"Yeah, Kevin." I teased as I went to sit.

"All I'm saying is we don't need you guys making out 24/7."

"It's not 24/7."

"Well, maybe 23/7." Jayden joked. Mia and Emily laughed while Kevin just shook his head at us.

The gap sensor went off as we finished our food. We morphed as we ran out the the center of town. I saw a familiar looking nighlok terrorizing people. It was a muddy kind of green and he had a sword in his hand. He would touch people and they would see vision before running off in fright. "Jayden, do we know that nighlok?" I asked.
