Fight Fire With Fire

I decided to skip the Christmas episode so here we go.

Jayden's POV

I practiced outside while Ji watched me, but I was too focused to notice that someone had arrived until I almost hit Ji with my swing. I jumped back slightly at the fear and he handed me an envelope with my family's crest on the front. I had a feeling I knew what this was.

I opened the letter and read what was written. And as I feared, I knew what it said. This was the end and it was coming all too quickly. "We knew this day would come." Ji said.

"This changes everything. The other rangers will finally know my secret. I hope they can forgive me. Allison will never forgive me." I said.

"She'll understand that you need to do what you have to." Ji said.

"But I'm leaving her alone with—"

"She won't be alone. And you two will be together again. I can assure you that."

Allison's POV

I sat in my room until I heard the gap sensor go off. We all ran to the common room and looked at the map. "Nighlok attack at the park, let's go." Jayden ordered and we all followed him out.

We arrived at the park and morphed as we began to fight moogers. After some fighting Kevin and I saw Jayden get hit by a blast from a new nighlok. Not too strong, but suddenly his suit started to smoke where he got hit even though there was no fire. "What was that?" Kevin asked.

"I don't know." I replied. He blocked a few but she blasted him again. "We have to help him!" I yelled. Kev and I went over and kneeled in front of Jayden on the ground. She blasted Kev in the chest and me in both the stomach and chest. I felt the burn in my chest for a little and then it subsided, but my stomach burned a little longer. It wasn't very painful though.

"Aw! That would've finished him." The nighlok said in a voice that sounded like nails on a chalkboard.

"Be careful. Those blasts are powerful." Jayden groaned in pain.

"I feel okay." Kev replied.

"Yeah it doesn't hurt that much." Jayden took a swing at the nighlok, but fell to the ground as she disappeared. Kev and I went and surrounded him again. "The blast isn't that strong. Just have a little burn in my stomach."

"Really?" Jayden asked.

"Yeah nothing we can't handle." Kevin agreed. "I think we can block her shots, rangers." We all surrounded Jayden, but one of her shots ricocheted off one of our weapons and hit Jayden causing him to scream in pain.

"Why is it only happening to him?" I asked.

"I'll tell you why. The head of the Shiba family has massive fire symbol power. My fire flashers simple ignite the flames already inside him. And you can't stop me. You can't even see me." She laughed in an irritating, maniacal voice.

"Where is she?"

"We must protect Jayden and the sealing power." Kev said. The nighlok began to pop out of nowhere, blasting us each time and taunting us.

"You have to stop taking hits for me." Jayden yelled at his while grabbing my arm.

"We have to protect you, baby. Plus, her hits aren't that strong on us." I said. "We're a team."

"She's right." Em said. "If they want you, they have to go through us first. The nighlok continued to blast us as Jayden morphed into super samurai mode and attempted to fight, but it quickly failed.
