After hours of searching I finally spotted Jayden leaning on a rail overlooking the ocean. The wind had kicked up causing me to push my hair behind my ear. I looked around for other people before approaching him. "Honey? What're you doing?" I asked.
"You shouldn't have followed me here." Jay said without even looking at me. I leaned my back against the rail and put my arms up.
"Maybe, but did you really think I was just gonna let you walk out without a fight?"
"No, but I thought I explained to you that this is what's best."
"You did. It's just that no one agrees. Jayden, don't you want a family? A life?"
"That's not what this is about."
"Really? Because I think you have the family you always wanted staring you in the face and you're walking away from it. Jayden no one cares if you're the red ranger. We just want you back." I brushed the hair out of his eyes and he closed them softly before taking my hand in his.
"The team's too loyal to me. You're to loyal to me." He moved my hand back down to my side, still not looking at me.
"No. I love you and I'm romantically loyal to you, but you're not that cool. I can make a leadership switch." He chuckled at me.
"What's wrong with my leadership?"
"Little whiny and bratty for my taste. It's like being lead by a 5-year old with weird priorities."
"What?" He started laughing and actually looked at me.
"Forget it. Look who's looking at me." He rolled his eyes turned away again.
"The team needs you, Ally."
"You keep saying that, but you know what I think?"
"What?"
"I think you're scared. I think you're afraid that you'll have no purpose at the house. You know we all will do our samurai duties no matter who's leading. But by leaving, you're leaving your best friends, your mentor, your sister, your fiancé who loves you more than anything, and your child who'll love you forever no matter what." He looked at me again then looked down at my stomach and sighed.
"Allison, I'm doing this for you and them. I'm not trying to hurt you and we will be together just not now."
"Fine. I can't change your mind."
"No, you can't."
"I hope you know what you're doing, Jay." I started to walk away, but I head Jayden's voice.
"Ally." I turned to see him standing up and facing me. He held his arms out wide for me and I ran to him and held on tight. He kissed the top of my head. "I love you."
"I love you too." He pulled away and kneeled down to my stomach.
"I'll be back, kiddo. I promise." He kissed my stomach and stood up again. We nodded and both began to walk our separate ways with tears in our eyes. Mine started to fall. I wondered if his did too.

I pulled out my samuraizer and dialed Mentor. "What's going on Allison?"
"Jayden's gone. He's not coming back." I said, my voice breaking.
"At this point, Allison, it's a lost cause. Plus we really need you back here. Lauren needs you back here."
"Fine. I'm coming."

When I got back to the house I was sobbing. And everyone saw it. They all went to get ready for practice and Antonio ran out to find Jayden even though I specifically told him not to. "Allison." Lauren said once everyone dispersed. "Where's Jayden?"
